Morning all! The iron belongs to DH in this house, so much so that when I offered to iron his shirt last night for work because he was too tired to do it, he actually said he didn't want me to do it because he can't remember ever seeing me iron 😆 Thanks for the well wishes @maman, I really hope he gets this job, he's going to be totally crushed if he doesn't because he couldn't have done any better in the interview.
Managed to fit in a workout last night (upper body with some HIIT) and my shoulders are feeling it today! Felt good that I actually managed to do most of the HIIT stuff so I've definitely got a bit fitter over the last few months. Tonight's schedule is a recovery workout so shouldn't be as intense hopefully. Breakfast and lunch are a repeat of yesterday but dinner this evening will be carbonara with added mushrooms and salad bits on the side.
Hope everyone has a good day and is enjoying the bonus sunshine - I'm enjoying getting my laundry dry on the line!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Good morning all,
Genuinely cant remember if I posted yesterday lol it was so busy.
I can get extra miles into my walk if I wear blister socks, highly recommended. I got a horrific blister on the bottom of my foot 2 miles from home during 2020 and learnt my lesson do not walk in cotton socks.
I lost ¾ of a pound last week
B – granola ss milk
L – pot pasta
D – ping meal
A very unlike me day today 2 convenience meals in one day but im in a rush at lunch and tonight I am spinning. It will be a very low calorie day. Did a big walk last night after work, very hilly, but road - around 6 miles. Enjoyed it.

Had to pop over to see DD1 this morning as I was going shopping near where she lives to drop off some stretchy exercise bands as she needs these to do some exercises she's been given but not told where she can buy them! Fortunately we had a selection so have lent them to her.
Shopping done. Haddock smoked and in the freezer. Bacon still in the smoker until about 6 o'clock tonight. Not sure if DH will slice it tonight or leave it until tomorrow. Would probably be better to leave it but he's playing golf tomorrow morning.
My shoulder is really sore so I've stopped the exercises and cancelled tomorrow's physio - also concerned after being told it's a torn tendon. Have a telephone appointment with GP on Thursday morning so will see what he says to do.
Today's plan:
B - kedgeree - P; S; F
L - jacket potato, butter, cheese, salad - HEA2; S; F; 3.5
D - sweet and sour chicken, rice - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
Syns - butter
No HEB planned but if I want something I'll have a couple of Ryvita with Primula Light (HEB; 2)
Hadn't originally planned for rice twice in one day but as I've needed to move things round a bit it's just happened; even worse as we had rice yesterday as well!
Have a good day everyone.

Any loss is good @klew well done.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
It's probably for the best to wait until you speak to your GP @joedenise. It's always good to get advice as I'm never sure whether rest or exercise is best for injuries like yours. You're certainly upping the anti with your exercise @ruby_eskimo. All good Body Magic! I'm never sure how much it contributes to weightloss @milann but it certainly helps with toning muscles and a general feel good factor.
We were going to have chilli today but I've got a fair bit of veg in the fridge that I'd like to get used and as the chilli is a freezer meal it can wait for another time.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), fried eggs (P), mushrooms, tomatoes (S), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- cold chicken (P), 1 potato (F), veg and pickles (S)
D- fishcake, SW chips (F), broccoli, asparagus, mushrooms, tomatoes (S)
Syns- Morrison's fishcake 2?2 -

@bubbs have you tried blitzing the cottage cheese before using it if it's the lumps you don't like? I think it was the Morrisons one which was fairly smooth so wouldn't take too much to blitz it a bit to make it smooth. I'm the opposite I prefer Tescos because it is lumpy!
Hope you enjoyed the theatre. Sounds like it was a bit of a rush to get ready last night! You've got a really busy week with theatre again Thursday and then Bletchley Park Saturday. I'm sure you'll be making a great big SW friendly picnic to enjoy!

Oh hell, these antibiotics are hunger inducing, eating like a horse all day, no syns so far, but need to control the amount I eat. The lady checking in just before was a little deaf, trouble was, the rest of us weren’t, so we all knew what the issue was, she was more than a bit upset that she didn’t have her own personal medic meeting her at the door.A smile costs little but creates much1
