The lady checking in just before was a little deaf, trouble was, the rest of us weren’t, so we all knew what the issue was, she was more than a bit upset that she didn’t have her own personal medic meeting her at the door.

Morning all! Bletchley park is beautiful @bubbs, lots of places for a picnic and seeing the Turing machine in action is really amazing, I'm sure you'll have a lovely day out at the weekend. Glad you enjoyed the theatre, we're really looking forward to getting back to seeing things early next year 🤞
Got all our washing done yesterday @joedenise because the weather was so nice. The washing basket is now empty for the first time in a while! Need to put everything away now as it's all sitting on the spare bed 😆
DH got a call yesterday offering him the job he interviewed for last week so we had a chinese and a couple of beers to celebrate last night 🥳 Definitely overate and didn't pick SW friendly options so feeling a bit blah this morning but back on it and drinking all the water. Had ff yogurt with raspberries for breakfast, no idea what lunch is going to be because it's too hot for soup and I'm out of tomatoes so might have ham and cheese on toast with some salad leaves maybe. Dinner is going to be quorn swedish style meatballs with mash and broccoli (as per DH's request) even if it's too warm for that really.

Morning all,
Could eat an ice cream just now, its hot in the office. I got a pack of 3 blister socks first time round I think they were a tenner. Definitely worth it.
Feel like I smashed the spinning class last night, one of the other instructors took part in the class so I was trying to do like for like. Felt good!
Just walking tonight and a bit of housework, might even paint the rest of the fence if it is nice still.
Totally off plan this week, or off the meal plan I had set out but staying within the calories. Hopefully tonight I can set the soup away then have that the rets of the week.
B fruit and fibre ss milk
L pot noodle eek
D Korean beef and rice

Congratulations to your OH @ruby_eskimo on the job. I'm sure you enjoyed your Chinese and couple of beers and of course you are straight back on it today. Well done. You'll soon pull those syns back.
I've just cooked a gammon joint and baked it; now cooling down ready for DH to slice later once it's cooled down. It'll be so nice to have decent ham rather than the stuff from the SM which to be honest I very rarely buy. Think we'll probably end up with a ham salad for lunch tomorrow now, even though that's not what's on the plan. Typically the forecast is for it to be much cooler then!

Congratulations to dh for his job. Hope you enjoyed the celebration meal Ruby….sometimes it’s just got to be done.
Denise what is spinakopita - something I’ve not come across.
I went to an early group this morning as I wanted to walk and figured it would be too hot at the 11 am class I usually go to. I lost 1/2lb which I’ll happily take - still need to loose 1/2 to get back to where I was before my gain. I do think my lack of walking has had an impact so I need to up my game. I’ve come to the end of my countdown - so 3 lb loss has cost me over £10 a lb 😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳I’m out for lunch with a friend tomorrow to a lovely Greek restaurant, I plan to have either a feta salad or if she is going for the 2 course meal deal I’ll have chicken sis (kebab) with rice and salad and suss the lowest syn starter or dessert. I need to up my game - can’t carry on paying £10 per 1 lb 😳😳😳😳 it’s really made me think looking at it that way 😏🤔👍January spends - £587.581 -
@milann Spinakopita is a cheese and spinach pie, topped with filo pastry. I used the SW website recipe but have to say it doesn't freeze very well! It was lovely when it was first made but today it was very dry so didn't really eat a lot. DH ate his half and said it was OK but don't bother freezing it again!!! I said exactly my thoughts. Next time I'll just do half the recipe in a smaller dish. I didn't syn the feta but used it as part 2nd HEA. The full recipe is 5.5 syns but that's because you're supposed to syn the feta!

Enjoy your meal at the Greek restaurant. I think the worst synwise is the amount of olive oil they use!

Brilliant news about your DH's success @ruby_eskimo. You deserved a celebration for that!
I'm another that's gone a bit mad with the washing today. The basket is totally empty and I even changed the beds and towels sooner than planned to catch the good weather. 😇
Good luck with getting more exercise in @milann as that does seem expensive for what you've lost but you've almost shifted the gain so well done for that!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
You're right about the home cooked ham @joedenise. It's hugely superior to packs from supermarkets although the Torchon ham isn't too bad but it's not cheap. I must put gammon on my list as I want stock for soup as well as the meat. I hope you get your soup sorted @klew. I know Pot Noodle is quick when you're busy but I don't think it's very nutritious. You did really well to keep up with the spin instructor.😁
Usually at this time of the year I feel ready to make plans for the new (school) year but as we don't feel like there's been a summer either in terms of weather or holidays I'm a bit disorientated. Generally I'd think of an event in the future that I wanted to lose weight for but so many events have been cancelled I've stopped thinking that way. I think I've just been plodding along through the pandemic, roughly maintaining weight at top of target range and it's hard to break out of that. I know it's better than just eating everything in sight which some people have done in lockdown but....I'm a right misery today!🤣
After dinner last night, I realised that I'd forgotten to serve up the asparagus so I used that today for my omelette. We obviously had plenty to eat as we didn't notice. I really enjoyed the Morrison's fishcake for 2 syns and will definitely buy them again. There were definite pieces of fish in it, not all mush.
Morrisons The Best Melt in the Middle Scottish Salmon, Smoked Cod & Haddock Fishcakes with West Country Cheese Centre, chilled 2 pack (145g each)
One of my dancing groups is now near Morrison's so I'll be able to pop in there from time to time.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA1 milk, strawberries (S)
L- veggie omelette (P,S), ham (P), beetroot and cornichons (S)
D- SW Bolognese (P,S), pasta (F), HEA2 Parmesan
Syns- skinny syrup 0.51 -
