Morning all, hoping for a quieter day at work today.  Thanks for all the good wishes for DS, he's positive as we thought and thankfully just heavy cold symptoms so far.  He has lost his taste and smell but attempting to eat small amounts, even treats have no appeal at the moment.

    Today's plan -
    B - toast HEXB, jam
L - tomato and red pepper soup (found another box when I was rummaging yesterday)
D - pasta with arrabiata sauce, HEXA parmesan

    Syns - 2 jam
  • Ouch Denise!

Well, gain as expected, but as I had gone in hoping for less than 4lb, coming in at 3lb wasn't too bad, how come it takes me longer to get it off than on? Oh well back on plan, walking tomorrow, providing we do the whole walk (it is one of those that can be done in 2 parts) should have done about 17-18 miles. Think it will be a chill out evening afterwards!
A smile costs little but creates much :)

That's some serious walk you've got planned @Gettingtherequickly. Hopefully it should see off some of your gain. 😊

Thanks for the heads up on Aldi Super 6 next week @bubbs. I do hope they're decent cauliflowers as they've been so variable lately, both is size and quality. That's not just in Aldi either.

I've decided I'm going to try my best for an alcohol free Friday which means I won't need to do reining in next week. Rather a lot of baked beans today on the menu but I'll try to balance them off with Speed veg. For lunch I'm going to make some sort of hash to use the bits of veg left  in the fridge (asparagus, mushrooms, courgette, pepper, tomato) before I go shopping later.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), bacon, fried egg (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- cold chicken (P), stir fry veg (S)
D- sausages , chips, baked beans (F), fried onions, mushrooms (S)
    Syns- Aldi sausages 1

Afternoon all - where has the morning gone!  I know I had to go to group but also needed to do some shopping as DH used up all the yoghurt (there wasn't even enough to do our overnight oats so I had to use some milk!  Unfortunately I ended up not eating mine as I took it to group (fortunately in a plastic bag!) as it leaked and there was a right mess in the bag so I decided not to bother!

Then had a chat with my sister whilst sitting outside Mr Ts so that was another 20 minutes gone; I still needed to go to Icel*nd as couldn't get any frozen fruit that we like in Mr Ts, also couldn't find the Branston which DH wanted.

By the time I'd finished shopping and come home it was about 1.15pm and I still needed to cook lunch!  Have only just had it but it tasted so good because I was hungry!

Forgot to say I only lost 0.5lb so I'm still out of target so had to pay.  Still at least it was a loss - just another 0.5lb next week and I'll be at top end of range so not too expensive!

    Today's plan:

    B - 0
L - stuffed pepper with beef mince, onions, garlic, tomatoes, mushrooms, spring onions and topped with cheese - part HEA2; P; S
D - Fakeaway KFC - chicken, corn on the cob, baked beans, chips (again - had to change menu plan earlier in week so we've ended up with chips 2 days running but it was unintentional! - P; F. Followed by fruit & yoghurt - S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
HEB - 0 but may have a couple of Ryvita later with some Primula Light for the rest of my HEA2
Syns - may have a rum or 2 but not sure yet 5?

The weather is just beginning to brighten up, really glad about that as fed with up with greyness we've had just lately.

    Have a good weekend everyone
