Finding the NSD challenge quite fun at the moment. I won’t have one today or tomorrow due to bills, but hopefully can manage at least one more over the weekend.Grateful for my shady retreat in the heat (this is going to be a recurring theme until the weather cools a bit!) but also feeling very grateful for DH. Had a weird dream last night about going to a dinner party with horrible ex bf, haven’t spoken to him for years so no idea where that came from. Woke up thinking “thank GOD I’m not with him!”8

Posted too soon!Today I’m going to rejig my budget for August and sweep over the excess in spending pots to savings - probably to my driving lessons pot. Even though waiting lists round here are still so long that it looks like I won’t be able to start for months, it would be a weight off my mind to have that funded as much as I can before I need to start commuting to the office again and have to budget for travel costs.8

Today is my first day of official staycationing until about mid august. So am celebrating by doing some creative work and some freelance work, and I shall be very creative w my money as have massively overspent this month planned - but still.
I will also make a marine kondo spread sheet with every single nook and cranny and stash in the house, I want minimalistic calm(haha).
I shall also actually decorate hallway - very old project.
I shall also drink bubbles and have a laugh w friends in garden.
Grateful for interview done and dusted, for amazing support from this group, and for rebooting my own freelance business.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Just back from another walk. Now I remember why I don't let Himself into Lidl. I only went in for tomatoes and lemons and came out with two bags full of shopping. Most of it chocolate based for Himself. I don't think I've ever met anyone with such a sweet tooth.
Still the walk did me good.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.7 -

I feel I'm on NSD day one, money has literally been a wellspring off my account this month. But I am now sitting on every penny, as am swooshing jobs around, and there could be slight gaps come September.
And guess what I got an email stating 'conditional offer of employment' - on the FE job I was tentatively offered in June, but it has only materialised now! Starting in a week, if you're a teacher - you know what a ridiculous idea that is.
Any how I will spend the weekend reading and thinking, it's 3 days and an exact match to my other job, but HE no driving as local and a lot more responsibility! And still more replies to come as well!Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Sorry I'm late, or I may be early, it's still yesterday as far as I'm concerned. I was writing epic posts at 4.30 am and couldn't sleep even when I tried. At 6 am I started to tidy my room (by moving everything into the front room in categories - so on the couch I had the mattress protector, pillows and cushions, pillowcases and then sheets and added things to the piles as I worked my way across the room and found them. Thought I had 2 hours before mum got up so of course she got up at 7 am. She got stroppy when I asked why she was up ('need to take my pill') but later realised it was an hour earlier than she thought.
Worked steadily throughout the day. By 10 am, tiredness was getting to me but it made me clumsy, nearly fell a couple of times so did a lot sitting down - picked up all the bits around the chair, picked up larger bits of rubbish an added them to my binbag and then scraped the floor and Henry'd. Finally got to the part where I put the mattress on it's side up against the wall, followed by the two halves of the base. More stuff under the middle part of the bed (one very full heavy bin bag has gone out).
Moved a large chest of drawers, then the fridge- freezer, put the smaller chest of drawers where I wanted it (then moved it again to get at the plug socket.) Food delivery arrived just as I was wrangling half the base into its new position. Put food away. FF in final position, large chest of drawers beside it. I've brought the bedding back in, put a sheet down and rolled a cover to make a bolster. Have my mask on as I'm likely to drift off. The rest will be dealt with when I find some energy.
Grateful for getting things done (wanted a change but wasn't sure if I could do it), finding 2 chicken kievs in the freezer for an easy lunch and feeling clean (have sluiced myself in the shower 3 times. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage7
