Well done @DrCarrie. Keep going @ditty1234 it'll be worth it in the end.
My op today was postponed, so I've been able to take some anti-histimines to stop all my bites itching. It's surprising how much better it is after 4 days already! I did read that talc or cornflower stops chafing, or roll on deodorant. Worth a try.
NSD#10!
Walked to the village after breakfast, then sat sewing all morning. A new zip in a pair of jeans done & 4 taggy blankets made. After dinner I weeded a border, planted some new plants in gaps, then sorted through plants in pots to see what was still living or beyond saving. Took weeds out of a gravel path, then time for a test as I was aching.
Cut out 4 chickens from material ready to sew over the next few days.
Grateful for getting lots done, being asked to be the 'Meet the Maker' on a local virtual mall page, pretty fabricUse it up, wear it out

Good luck Ditty, well done DrCarrie!
Calling - i hate the heat too - energy sapping, i look a red blotchy mess as soon as i move away from the fan i have sat in front of all dayTomorrow & Weds i have to go into the office; it's a 10 min walk from the car park, uphill, carrying my rucksack with laptop etc in it - i'm hoping to get up and into work before 9am before it gets too hot.
Work has been productive, one frog tackled. Did some of my PT job this eve and did an exercise class on Fb, was hard as it was so hot but i did feel virtuousHave eaten well today, made veggie shepherd's pie for tea tomorrow (perfect for a heatwave;) - needed to use up sweet potatoes and carrot. Prepped breakfast and lunch too.
Have been spendy as needed a couple of items of food & some toiletries (but sold out in b00ts, will try the one near work) .
Nite all

7 Things to remember when being judged by others
1) It's not about you, it's about them
2) It doesn't matter what they think, it matters what you think
3) You don't have to convince them of anything
4) You don't need them to know the truth, you need to remind yourself of the truth
5) You don't need them to accept you or the situation, you need to come to your own acceptance of you and the situation
6) You can't stop them judging, so focus all your energy on detaching
7) If they're judging you about something you already feel insecure about, it's a blessing in disguise......

Ditty - you will be fab, and if they are so daft they cannot see you would do a better job than anyone else, then they do not deserve you. It might just be that they ask you the one question you need to think about to ace your next interview. It is an experience, enjoy it. They are evaluating you and your skills, not judging you. They want a team member. Just be yourself and wear orange if you want to. Use your Turtle Shield as armour. We are all rooting for you.I will remain on my sticky NSD5. Bought a single bedframe for DS4 this morning, (yes, again, I know!!!!) and carried it home in two trips - it is pine, and totally solid. Bit like him. Both need their nuts tightened regularly. Also bought two mattresses in boxes (double for DS1, single for DS4) for under £200 that have very good reviews. DS1 will be off to uni come Sept hopefully, so it will end up as the 'spare' or ' holiday' bed. DS1's double that has a better mattress will be moved to DS2's room, and his squeaking metal bed will be recycled, or turned into trellis, or something.£25 bedframe (charity shop) £8 on anti histi's - there is still (over a month now) a shortage of one of the ingredients on the generic liquid medicine that is sub £4 for a big bottle so had to buy a big bottle of next cheapest at double the price!!! Grrr.I had a magnum for breakfast. I am treating it as a meal. It was flippin' lovely. Not sorry at all. Sue me.I am having a lovely time!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Good luck, Ditty.
No more NSDs so far due to the fact that Himself has started being brave and going to the supermarket again. Nothing too extravagant. Fruit and YS items that we will actually use.
Went for a walk at 8.00am this morning. It's too hot for me even to sit outside now. I'm another one who doesn't do well in heat.
A nice prawn salad for lunch. Really looking forward to that.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.8 -

I now sort have a day off, and am slightly bewildered, will tend to plants, do some actual writing, go for a swim and drink cups of chilled tea. (not actually ice tea as is full of sugar.)Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

I think Mr Lipt0n earned a ton of money by selling iced tea laden with sugar. I love his lemon tea, and his peach, but cannot justify the calories so I am sticking to dirt cheap 0 cal supermarket pop.
