Hi TurtlesSorry been missing had a few days of work last week and usual can't post on my phone over weekend. My days have mainly been spending ones, food mainly, treated myself to 2 new pairs of shoes as my work and sandals are now at least 3 years old. Found some handy pumps in Aldee for plodding around river, stop me slipping on slimy stones.Had a quick skim through everyone's posts. Am I the only one who can't cope with this heat?Tummy doesn't like heat. Nice to be back in work today and to have extra large fan blowing at me. I hate being sweaty and my thighs seem to be chafing yuck. So little exercise done at all. This weekend didn't go out with kids until mid afternoon and then they had a river dip, not too busy there. They were quite happy around the house/ garden with paddling pool out in the morning. My NSD are only at 5 eek worst ever been.Told myself off. Good points Freezer is bursting with food and Fridge with veggies.Jobs to do.Declutter my clothes, running short on space.Garage clean and declutterStart on CV and job search.Exercise do some.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/227

Congratulations on getting the assignment finished @DrCarrie !Today I’m grateful for having some basement space that is cool in this weather. I’m having lunch down here among all the storage boxes and enjoying a respite from the heat! 🥵7

I hate this heat too - the plants seem to love it, so I am putting up with it. I am so brave.I have started skipping - I do 100 skips outside the back door, then go do something else, and then do 100 skips, it takes less time than it takes the kettle to boil. You can feel it when you go up and down the stairs though!! Short bursts, and no chaffing thighs @Calling14 I might make it to 1000 today.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Today I am grateful for my liddle f+v boxes and for a neighbour taking the 8 aubergines off me, for dc having a fab time with a friend, for the washing drying before the rain arrived ( it pelted down for a good 15 mins, yet where dc was -just 3 miles away- they had no rain at all!), for piriton for my pesky itchy insect bites, for the Star Trek episode having a happy ending.

What rain, how lovely on this sweltering day.
Why is it getting dark so early?
Is it normal that it is taking me 3 half days to prepare a 10 min presentation for a job interview? Or is that a sign I'm not up for the job? It's a career sidestep, so I have had to make up the powerpoint style, do all of the content research and think up the activities I am proposing ... all looking better now. But I have currently used all of my friend credits, so I am just doing having discussions with memoi-self (and ds1 and ds2).
Have not really sign on for cover teaching this week, infections are rampant and I am not in the mood to selfisolate. Well that was a rant and a half, I will have to sit at home and not do much in the next long while to make up for my non MSE sins this spring and summer.
Enjoy the rain, enjoy the sun, and in articular enjoy the evening when a soft wind finally sends a slight chill down your spine. Loving to work outside for a bit, and the fact that both boys have trotted off to eat dindins at their dads.

Just lost my post. Didn't switch on the laptop this morning, was awake early but had a nap after pills, breakfast and washing. Cooler today but still very hot and stayed in watching a serial (think mum is getting into it now, she asked did I want to watch another episode this evening). Have dried my washing and done a few buckets of soil digging, shifting and sifting. Hurt all over again (lying down because sitting hurt too much).
Congratulations Dr Carrie and ditty you have got this far, just go for it, if you don't get it and you've done your best, it wasn't right for you but you'll regret not giving it everything if you find out you do definitely want it.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage6
