Well done on getting the presentation done and submitted, ditty - good luck for tomorrow
Flagging slightly in this heat - very thankful that we have an abundance of fans collected over the years in this house! Have finally completed paperwork for new job and will post it off later using free stamps (need to weigh it first to see how many I need to put on - it's a fair wodge of paper!) Also paid for DS2's bus pass for school ready for Sept (£995 - sob! - although I know that it actually quite cheap!)
Ongoing task of this week is sorting/ tidying/ cleaning DS2's room (definitely need a shrieking blue smiley for that task!) - some stuff is actually leaving - I am most impressed! (ok - some things have been passed on to DS3, but more is leaving than has been handed down) CS is benefitting from a decent pile, but will also attempt to sell some of his 'things' on fb00k and flebay - they can always go to CS at a later date

- the price has actually come down a little from a couple of years ago. Thankfully a replacement card only costs £10 - and he's not lost one yet. It would be of little benefit to most people - only valid on his particular school bus between one of 3 stops and his school

Today I am grateful for my counsellor, for finding everything on my sainz list, for butterflies, for a breeze, for ice cream, for time with dc.

Hot sun + red-headed Scot = combustion. ️🔥
Wow - it's hot. Not according to family member in Australia. Apparently this would be a lovely winter's day.
NSD 5 for me. I'll not give up on bagging a few more by the end of the month.
Productive day at work. I did a team call in the garden and one colleague commented how lucky I was to have a garden. I then realised that out of the 8 of us, I was the only one with my own outdoor space. I should remember to be extremely grateful for it.
My fruit phone is on its last legs. Unfortunately I'm fruit phone loyal and would want another fruit phone. I have about half the £ needed for one (entry level) and hopefully I'll have a little more to contribute to the fruit phone fund after my birthday next month.
Grateful for morning birdsong, superfast line-dried washing, and a garden.

Walked 7.5 miles with hubby after breakfast, boy were my feet happy once I'd taken my shoes off! Don't think the cats were though 😂 it got warmer in the afternoon, I finished chopping up the twigs, then gathered all the empty sacks I could find, & started filling them with ash, melted plastic, mattress springs, etc from the bonfire site. Will need to magic up another dozen sacks at some point to clear the rest. Unpicked a coat zip after tea, then washed up. Feeling very achy tonight, looking forward to my turn in the bath...
Grateful for a dry day, happy customers, a soak in the bath
Use it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Really grateful to have an opportunity to take things a bit easier at work this week, and to have had a yummy dinner of cold salady stuff from the garden.7
