Grateful for the warmth of the sun through the window (warm but not oppressive), the firmness and comfort of the bed, feeling peaceful and at one with the world, for medicine (and the CPAP) machine which keep me alive when I'm awake and when I'm sleeping, for books, the internet, a visit from DS2 and his beloved, for how lovely my newest daughter-out-law is, for DS2 coming back from the car to give me a hug before leaving, for them being interested in what I've been doing in the garden and everything that is growing, for the bees on the broad bean flowers and nasturtiums, for the cabbage white butterflies circling my cabbages (they went away when I told them to, let's hope they plant their babies in the nasturtiums, for DS2 winding the solar lights through the tree (it's a lot easier when you're 6' 4").My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage9

Grateful for where I'm at, excited about where I'm going (not quite, but working on it)
Do everything with a Joyful heart
No matter what is going on in your world, no matter what happens today - do everything with a joyful heart.
During the highs and lows, choose a stance of celebration
Every day choose something to be thankful for, look for the gold and resolve to look for the happy moments
If you can't find anything to be joyful about, remember this - you are alive with a beating heart and air flowing through your lungs. This means that your work here is not finished and it is not your story's end. You have a purpose, you have a dream that needs you to bring it to life. That - is something to be joyful about and celebrate (Lindsey Eryn)
Expect nothing, appreciate everything
Gratitude helps you see what is there, instead of what isn't
Being popular on facebook is like being on the cool table in the cafeteria of a mental hospital
The main function of the little toe on your foot is to make sure all the furniture in your home is in place

Grateful for lovely lake swim this morning, even though I only did one round, as got there late and had a bit of a hangover from lovely visitors last night.
Going to look at the place where my job interview is on Wednesday, to get a sense and to 'feel' it out.
Still working on interview presentation.
Am not doing well on NSD days either, yesterday I got my aircon regassed, and that is not a luxury, it will get me to my job interview on Wednesday in style on Wednesday.
Happy sunny Sunday, stay cool, use the evenings outside, it is so lovely.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Today will be NSD6
I have abandoned the pomegranate idea, as DH has sabotaged my plan and is cooking tonight instead.
Was very busy this morning, potted up all my remaining seedlings, did all the laundry and line dried it in about 120 seconds. Politics and coffee, made a chilli and a pasta sauce for 'Ron' - currently residing in the fridge, swept up the yard, did some skipping, decided it was far too warm and have come inside and cleaned the kitchen.Gratitudes: extra seedlings coming up (rotten slugs!), flowers blooming and the bees wafting about the place, not needing the heating, vegan strawberry splits, and lovely DH cooking tonight - in this heat a south facing kitchen is an experience.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Today I am grateful for our paddling pool, for getting some trellis up and getting a bit more privacy in the garden, for strong cheese, for a peaceful day, for texts from big sis.

hi all
Been busy and spendy here ! Had a long day at work on Friday but combined a work task with a walk in the evening. On Saturday i went to visit DD2 at her uni house. We drove to Scarborough in the evening and had chips by the sea and an ice cream. Managed not to get attacked by the millions of noisy seagulls everywhereToday we got up early and got pastries for breakfast which we ate outside. I bought some shoes in the sale and then drove home. Half way home DD2 messaged me to say she had been let out of work early and isn't back in till next weekend so she could've come home with me for a few days
She was upset so i managed to calm her down and she is going to visit her boyfr instead. Caught up on PT job when i got home and did more washing. Now it's evening it is cool enough for me to be outside so i shall go for a quick walk.
Gratitudes - lovely 24 hour visit with DD2, staying calm and managing to calm down DD2, DD1 and boyfr are over the hump of self isolation period, line dried bedsheets, still enough food in the house to keep going to payday (Tuesday)

NSD#9
Very busy bee today! Went for a walk after breakfast with hubby, planted courgettes & borage in a raised bed, then weeded between the peas & mange tout. After lunch got my son to help me plan the shape & size of the triangles I was painting on his wall. I've just taken off the crocodile tape now - he loves it 😃 went outside again & planted some flowers, then swept the driveway. Phew!
Grateful for eldest son loving his room, veg growing in the garden, pretty flowersUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Still on NSD 4! Not impressed.Saturday was grocery delivery day and I also bought a new duvet set for DS which was on sale and featured a certain Diznay car character from a film which DS really enjoys. Cars seem to be his thing just now. He watches F1 racing with OH, and at some point each day he’s challenging me to a race - does that count as an exercise routine? 😂Sunday we went to the swing park and had ice cream.
And today DS and I are going to a park with my friend and her DSs. But we’re going by train - my first time on public transport for a year and a half! Feeling nervous and a little intrigued. It’s been so long that it feels alien.Grateful for living near an excellent ice cream shop, family and friends, the weather over the past week.

Grateful for a cool morning, for hopefully finishing my presentation, it's dragging on now, 10 minutes is a long time on an unfamiliar topic and format.
Grateful for the garden that extra room in the house, sat outside till 10 again last night, can't remember the last time I was in the living room.
Yesterday was pretty much NSD except I resubscribed to a professional body for my creative work, as I need the listing and the insurance. But I went to visit a museum, well actually two, had a look around and came back and had ice cream in the garden. So now need diesel, but the trip was sort of research for my interview on Wednesday. (Which is now taking over my life).
Have a lovely Monday everybody, remember to add a holiday touch to your day if you're still working and to do something productive or enjoyable if you're on holiday. As you can tell I am on holiday, but still working - will need to book at least one week off from everything, at some point, but not till I know what I'm doing come September/October(I have work but am trying to switch up).
