Good luck with the job interview @ditty1234 !
Today I'm grateful for podcasts (keeping me sane while working through a tedious and boring task for work) and for some sunshine at long last!5 -
Read earlier about a school trip to Italy. Teacher and pupils had lost the tour guide. They were on the way to a church. One of the boys said he knew the way - off they went, twisting and turning down back streets and reached the church. Teacher asked had the boy been to Italy before. No, he knew the way from playing Assassins Creed.
Feeling totally different today. Still have limits but feeling my way towards the boundaries. Ear are worse but getting better - so I will be cautious about losing my balance and falling. Slept well (got to sleep late and awoke later than usual - 4 am was too early). Can move my legs without yelping/ shouting/ screaming. Going to do things but enjoying resting atm - am slowly applying various creams - all tiny ends of tubes to use up. I think when they get near the end it's easy to fumble, lose them in the bedclothes or they roll under the bed. Then when I tidy all the odds and ends appear.
Have written a list of things I want/ need to do (put a couple on just so I don't forget them but not worried about them being done today. Still have my sense of humour and the serenity vibe. Sunny here so hoping I can fork over the next bit to be dug and let the sun dry it out. Have paused activity because there was clay where I had dug out the bricks and roots and when it rained it turned into a quagmire. Did other bits in the garden yesterday (moving collected water to where it is/ will be needed and sawing up some roots/ tree trunk to go in the green bin - more to do but then there will always be more to do.
Need to prioritise doing 'me' things
Grateful for sunshine (may dry the washing if I can summon the energy to put a load on), having list of easy food ideas (boiled eggs, tuna butties - when the bread comes, mash potatoes, celery/ carrot sticks, bacon and cabbage - when the bacon arrives). May sit watching a film and chopping and peeling. Grateful for the days of the week being on my some of my pills - some days I need them, other days it's just even more confusing, moving my legs and body in different ways (just stretching), books, music, the garden. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage6 -

hi all
I've achieved a NSD taking my total to 4.
Had a good sleep. Went to see DD1's bestie at lunch to take her a birthday present and we went for a walk through the woods and down to the river. Very nice but a bit hot for me!
Did exercise class on Fb this eve. Just having tea then going to watch TV and read in bed.
gratitudes - exercise teacher who keeps me moving; sunny day to dry washing; flexitime so i could have a long lunch

Another busy day! Hubby left for dialysis, so after breakfast I quickly painted my son's walls again. Felt light headed with the heat & not letting my breakfast settle properly! In to town for a haircut, dropped sewing off, used free £10 L1dl voucher to buy treats for our picnic tomorrow. Back home, had dinner, hubby home, then headed to the next village to buy some plants. The lady gave us lots of free Petunias & we got a good deal on the plants we paid for! After tea, painted again then completed a sewing job. Treated myself to watching episode 2 of a 4 part series on channel 5 - it's good!
Grateful for good TV, lots of new plants, a trip.out tomorrow
Good luck with the presentation Ditty, you can do it! And, if you feel good in orange, I say go for it 😃Use it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Being an adult is pretty easy
You just feel tired all the time and tell people how tired you ar and they tell you how tired they are.
A haiku about being an adult
I am so tired
Where did all my money go
My back is hurting
I don't think we get smarter as we get older
We just run out of stupid things to do.
My body is a temple
Ancient and crumbling, probably cursed or haunted
My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage7
