Hope the sprays help @Idee2111. Lovely sunflowers ladies, hubby has just moved the pots ours are in, ready to plant behind the shorter Mexican Sunflowers (Tithonia).
Yesterday was actually NSD#6. Had a good day today of spending nothing, then had the urge to treat us all, as we've not had a meal out for sooo long, so we drove into town to the local pizza restaurant. I'm so full now, I can hardly move!! Could finally also buy eldest son his first official pint 😃 he turned 18 three days after the first lock down, he's now turned 19 & so it's been long awaited!
Walked to the village after breakfast this morning to post letters, did the hoovering, then completed two sewing jobs. Cut & pinned in place lots of ribbon to make more taggy blankets afterwards, then made soup. After dinner I cut the grass & weeded another raised bed, ready to transplant the courgettes into.
Grateful for warm weather, a chat with next door neighbour, a lovely meal outUse it up, wear it out

hi all
i acheived another NSD so i'm up to 3 now. Had a quiet but productive day at work, caught up on PT role x 1 at lunch and self employment job this eve. Walked with DD2 to the station as she has gone back to uni house so she can do her cafe job. Did my exercise class on fb this eve. Eaten well except for the last few jelly type sweets leftover from the weekend - but they have gone nowDD1 gifted me a notebook so i will write down what i eat as my meals are good but i have far too many snacks and treats.
Gratitudes - DD2 happy to go back to uni house and to work (with half the contents of my fridge in her bagDD1 still continuing to feel well; eating up leftovers today

A quietly satisfying day. Nothing dramatic, just steady plodding. Have charity shop bags of clothes, jigsaws, books and crafts, rubbish (bin bag and a small one to carry around with me and another part filled bag in the yard), recycling (+ bottles for the garden), paper (2 again and lots put in throughout the day) and other things like rags.
Went outside with more bin bags to sort various categories of plastic bottles - full ones, halves and ones for watering spikes. Emptied all the bits of water from the half bottles and trays into the watering can and filled the watering points. Coming back from behind the shed I caught my foot and nearly fell. Saved myself by grabbing the washing line pole but came in as it started raining heavily.
Mum hasn't eaten the pasta bake I made for her, so I peeled off the cheese crust and had the pasta and veg for my lunch. Mum had a little nap this afternoon and I've found two more cupboards with space for stuff and created a third. Cancelled my travel insurance and will get 15 pounds sent back to my bank account. Ordered something medical for mum. I have two bites at the top of my arm, so put bite cream on - they're going nasty.
Going to do some 'tin based' meals this week and work out which tins need stocking up and which to reduce (will be doing both at the same time - mum will be working her way through the soup we still have and I will buy and put aside more for Autumn and Winter). Lemon juice, cider vinegar and low fat dressing were amongst the things finished off over the weekend so replacements taken out of my room and into the kitchen/ fridge. Did get outside for a tiny walk (going to add chair based exercises this week)
Grateful for a peaceful day, not falling, photos of DS2 and his gf in N Ireland (her mum lives there). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage9 -
Grateful for keeping my weight loss from last year for 6 months now. For a wizzy clean and dinner from ds2 last night, for getting up early this morning to check on personal projects before work, so I know what I have to read and sort out when I get home. Also grateful for being booked for 4 days of cover work this week, so there should be a bit extra for to fill the summer gap, even after the holiday pothole is re-filled.
HAve managed NSD over weekend, not quite yesterday as bought some nuts for a snack and ds went to get us some wraps and some more milk.
Have a lovely day all.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Morning,
NSD yesterday, and a very busy day at work. My manager was sick, and I needed to cover a bit of her work - which I had not done before. Didn't finish work until 20:20! No time for the assignment at all, and I need to work this morning to get the stuff done that I should have yesterday, I am not supposed to start work until 12! But then I should be clear for the assignment. I think I may have left a contact lens in on Saturday...but can't find it. lots of eyewash required!
Anyway... grateful for:
- being busy, it keeps my mind occupied
- My yoga teacher and community
- finishing the bottle of wine, nine now til the weekend.3-month emergency fund (Cash ISA & PBs): £4744/ £6,000

I bought some fruit yesterday. We're eating masses of it at the moment and I like to get it as fresh as possible. So I'm still on NSD No 5. On the plus side I've lost another pound.
My decluttering didn't quite work out. Because of COVID the procedure for choosing a jury has changed so Himself has to wait to be contacted by phone or phone an update line in the evening to see what is going on. It makes sense I suppose not to have lots of people milling about in an enclosed space when they're not needed but it does rather limit what you can plan to do in a day. Still needs must and it's better to be safe than sorry. I did manage to clear some more rubbish from the cellar but it's rapidly reaching the stage when I'm going to need some help disentangling what's in there. And I did a good clear up of the communal area. Doesn't anyone put their litter in bins these days?
So, my plans for today are to have a bit of a clean and tidy and go through my wardrobe again. I'm sure there are more items in there that can go to the charity shop.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.8 -

Today's suggestions come mostly from random scrolling. They were things that struck a chord but I think I'm doing 'okay' mentally. I'm a total physical wreck, there is no part of me that wants to 'do' anything today. Sitting in the shower helped a bit. I have just ordered food + to be delivered tomorrow, in case I don't get to go to town/ my house today. I'm only planning to get a taxi there and sit sorting cardboard and issuing orders (hah) but even that involves putting clothes on after applying various unguents (antiseptic cream, suncream - a use up - and bite cream as a minimum) and finding bags, trainers (wellies are muddy and disgusting - some taxi drivers wouldn't let me in) a mask, purse, glasses, phone, keys (okay I mostly know where they are).
Let's start again. I am okay as long as I don't try to move. The green bin will not get filled unless I go and do it (but not sure if physically capable especially as the side that most needs doing means climbing up onto the wall - only 18 inches but it might as well be Mt Everest). Brown bin (most urgent) will probably get done - DS3's quite good at brown bin (tins, cans, plastic) and black bin (rubbish). Blue bin (paper) is not collected until next week, so although shifting out some cardboard packaging would help the general 'untidiness' (squalor) it isn't desperate. So let's not worry about that.
Food and drink will arrive tomorrow, if I don't get out today. Some is non-essential but helps make mum more comfortable (baby wipes to clean between her toes - several items are things I stock-checked last month and were down to the last pack when I looked through the cupboards yesterday). Some basics (bread, apples) and things to encourage mum to eat (grapes). No meat as the mere thought of handling chicken makes me seasick (but have ordered pickled onions because they're what my body is telling me it needs for my digestion, frozen berries because they're budget friendly and I'm really enjoying them). Spent more than I planned to but still have some money in the budget. Will continue to base meals on tins and freezer (when I can cope with cooking). Lots of frozen fish is a big plus.
Seem to have lost track of both my spending and decluttering totals (several separate lists jotted in my notebook but some missed out). okay will just breathe for a bit (still making random squeaks and wheezes), try not to move anything that hurts. I will have a tin of onion soup for my next meal, I have a clean tunic to wear (will have to put leggings on when I go outside the gate). I can toddle round the garden picking up roots and weeds I have gathered and the green bin can go out. Brown bin is nearly full so that can go out. Will make blood test appointments for me and mum but ask about how to cancel if mum is still not well (have been putting it off for the last 3 weeks).
Will sit in the garden with a drink or a book. Will concentrate on things that can go from the house. Will do some planning - budgetting and meal planning but also defining current me (and forgetting about fantasy me). Will chop and peel veggies.
