My Retention deal (that I took up with Orange last month) was :-

    (Old package 500mins/500texts = £35 per month)

New deal (the Panther £45) - 1200 mins, 500 texts, free voicemail, unlimited mobile internet, unlimited landlines and an HTC Diamond (cost me a one off of £44.99) for £25 a month on an 18 month plan.

My other otherhalf who was on the same deal (500/500 for £35) got the same Panther package with the Samsung Soul (one off charge of £44.99) for the same £25 per month on an 18month plan.

Do Orange still do the cashback deal if you upgrade in store? So upgrade in store, and get £x if you trade in a mobile

    yes they still do this
  • Do you know how much they offer for trade in now? Also will they match the offer you get via Retentions on Phone

    They won't match a retention offer in-store.

Also, remember that any retention offers are only good FOR THE CONTRACT LENGHTH! As soon as the 18 month period expires, the credits/extra mins etc will come off the account. Be aware :j
I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂

Anyone had any luck yet with the blackberry bold?

I really want this phone now (Returned the tocco.. not much of a phone!)

I'm unsure how easy they are to play with blackberrys though, also don't forget they now offer free ipod touch's when you take a new phone out online, try and get that in??

I was offered (and took) SE C902, 300 minutes, 100 texts, unlimited land lines (3000 mins), unlimited data (250 Mb) for £15 a month for an 18 month contract. This was without any haggling - I wonder if I could have got it down further.

    Regards
