I rang Orange yesterday for a PAC code as I'd seen good deals elsewhere online. Been with Orange for 20 years so no issues with them but I was after HTC One with at least 400 mins, u/l texts and at least 250 Mb data and Orange website was nowhere near good enough deal. Bear in mind I've been on Dolphin 15 for two years so not exactly a big spender, but I need a bigger contract now. She offered me The Works 37 for £27.75 so u/l mins, u/l texts and 1 Gb data for £27.75 per month with £49.99 upfront for handset. She then checked with her colleague who works on retentions and he offered me 4G on EE with same deal except 750 Mb of data for £27 so actually less than the 3G. I'm now sat here looking at a brand new silver HTC One so happy days!! Just goes to show its worth ringing! :j0

EE 4G has a double data promo from 17th July till September (30th?) hold off on the Orange upgrades for anyone wanting unlimited calls and text for £21 and 750MB data, available phones on £21 plan to be confirmed.
Sony Xperia SP one though, assume the Huawei too.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
Currently paying £21/month for 500 mins, unlimited text, 500mb data
last 30 days, so rang up for a pac code and generally guage what offers they were giving. Seems like they are trying to get people onto those £41/month EE contracts with just 1GB allowances!
Was told they could not price match other sim only deals. Closest they could get to Three's One Plan (£15/month for 12 months) was £26/month plan with 3GB allowance..
So at the end of the month I will be switching to Three.0 -
two days off the last three months on my orange contract which says I can upgrade, I was planning on leaving it until the last month before trying anything but... long story short, my handset has given up - can't/won't charge - I have a very basic one to tide me over but I need emails on my phone (self employed)
I want to get a htc one or SGS4 - does any one know the likely cost pm of these on an upgrade, I can get either for 26-27 on other networks as a new customer (the other alternative is to buy the handset and go giffgaff...)This is a system account and does not represent a real person. If I were you, I'd double check the upgrade window dates. It changed a while ago to something like having to be within the last 45 days. I'm pretty sure it was changed like this to comply with the EU regulation of not having phone contracts of longer than 24 months. If you upgrade on the 45th day - the remainder of your time on your current contract is written off, and you go straight onto your minimum term - instead of what used to happen - with the additional time being tagged onto the end of the new min. term.0

remember quidco for cashback when signing up to a new contract with anyone else. usually pays £30 - £1000 -
on my orange account it says I can upgrade on the 28th July - so that's what I am taking as the date I can upgradeThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
