    Absolutely fuming!!!!!!

Just phoned up again to see if they could get rent ions to phone again or cut a deal and after him offering me the same deals as a new customer or a rubbish phone he just hung up on me!

    Terrible customer service!

have you requested your PAC? Seems to be the best way to trigger a response. Our second one expires in a few days so I need to convince OH to use it this time. She's currently paying over £20 a month for 300mins and 400 texts, no data or anything else!
  • Thanks to the detail you've shared above I have just finally managed to negotiate the following:
    Samsung S3
    400 mins calls
    unlimited texts
    750 Mb data
    £50 towards handset
All for £25 per month on a 24 month contract.
If my figures are right that means a total cost of £650.
    He wouldn't shift more.

I rung orange this morning but didn't get put through to retentions. They offered me

    Samsunng S3
    500 mins
    unlimited texts
    750mb data
    free handset
    £26 a month on a 24 month contract.

Should I ask for my PAC code and try and get put through to retentions. Maybe ill get a better deal?

If you compare that to any other deals available at the moment and I dont think you'll beat it.

I'd certainly take it for my OH if I could get it. I'm going to give it one last try tonight although I'm concerned that her PAC is going to expire on the 20th so we may have left it too late to go anywhere else so will need to request a 3rd one!

Like for like Orange is a better deal as more minutes.

I've just called them and to keep my current package (200min,750MB data and unlimited text) they wanted £199.99 for phone, or £29.99 if I upped to a £36 a month package. Wouldn't budge, so requested PAC

So basically the standard deal that everyone gets off the website.

Thats the same problem we had - hoping to get something more like the one posted above but will see what happens.

2 PACs and retentions haven't called you yet? They clearly aren't interested in keeping your OH on.

I'd be moving on, porting doesn't normally take longer than 1 working day, so you aren't too late.

They did phone and OH couldn't take the call. Trouble is that its not something she feels strongly enough about to fight despite disliking her phone and whats she's currently paying for it. I want to get authorisation to speak to them on her behalf but thats another matter entirely.

I would have left by now and signed up to a mobiles.co.uk deal via Quidco :)
