Orange Retention Offers

Very poor deal IMO.
This phone uses an obsolete operating system and has been around for the best part of 5 years.
You should be able to do much better than this.0 -
That phone is 5 years old!!! Really really really poor deal!!! By offering you this phone, ehich has next to no value, they are indirectly charging you for the broadband. If your net spend is around £50 you can get much newer handsets on better deals0

The guy on the phone said they wouldn't give me the phone for free, I'd have to pay £36 a month to get it for free or pay £150 upfront and pay £31 a month. Wasn't happy with either offer so told them I was thinking of leaving, and they didn't care, even though I was asking about signing up for a 24 month contract. One guy on the phone told me I "hadn't built up enough loyalty" and that I hadn't "spent enough money".Turns out that the deal with phones4u is only for new customers (because us long time customers always get the worst deals)Long story short, I am now very annoyed that Orange have failed to acknowledge my tenure with them, they weren't interested in offering me any incentive to stay with them.

I was on last years retentio deal 750 mins 250 txt at £35/12 months, and new offer is 1000 mins, 250 text, 10 mb data, £30 on 18 month PLUS broadband. Oh and Free SPV E650 (I was impressed with previous SPV so asked for this)
Can i stick out for more or do you think this is good deal, think it covers all my usage needs. Would appreciate any comments. My average month s about £50 including insurance.

It's in the small print for current SIM only plans but is not chargeable on other pay monthly plans.0 -
Rang up for my PAC code, got given it and there was not even an attempt to keep me. Never mind off to T Mobile's full monty rolling sim:beer:0

Just come off the phone from them and they don't want to play ball at all! Currently pay £31 for a bb torch but want a s3 or one x, they won't offer any better than new customer deals!
What happened to retaining customers? Seems all the companies at the min would rather chance attracting new customers!0 -
Retention team is still working.
I was on 18 month contract 30/month. 600 x net minute, unltd landline, 300 txt and 500 mb data(HTC desire HD). contract was ending on 24 June.
I called upgrade gave poor offers.
requested PAC code which they gave me on telephone instantly.
Next day called by Retention twice and offered a good deal to which I agreed.
18 month contract
free Samsung Galaxy s3 white(in stock, blue has waiting time for 2-3 weeks)
800 x net minute
unltd landlines
300 txt
1 gb data
magic numbers to continue
for 29.46 /month.
I did not push her at all and she offered me this deal herself on s3 handset.
I dont go over my line rental but hold 2 contracts with orange.
Tip is to take PAC code and await for retentions to contact you. They call from a mobile number ending in 194 .0 -
still works for some people - but not all.
OH still hasn't managed to get a decent deal and has requested her 2nd PAC as we didn't sort out anything else before the first one expired. Mind you OH has only paid £10/month for the last 18 months so they are not earning much from her.
Still will try and give it one last shot . I need to speak to Orange anyway so I'll get her to authorise me to speak to them and give it a last shot.0 -
Has anyone got an actual phone number to speak to the loyalty team?
They called the other day to offer a deal but I couldn't speak as I was in a meeting, they said they'd call back but haven't!
I've just tried retentions to see if they can put me through but I got a really rude/ignorant boy/man that had no interest! He's annoyed me so much if I can't speak to the loyalty team going to cancel both contracts and move elsewhere! They will lose nearly £100 a month because of 1 persons attitude!0 -
If you phoned up then you just got the cancellations team - the retentions team dont take incoming calls so you have to wait until they phone you.
We will be leaving Orange shortly as we cant get a decent offer.0
