Orange Retention Offers

Good on you ssilvo. I will be in a very similar position as you were come the end of March. Happy with my handset and only need a sim with lots of minutes and texts - not even bothered about data. It's a toss up over Tesco Mobile or one of the GIFGAFF deals. Out of interest, what made you go with Tesco Mobile in the end?
sorry for the delay been busy trying to get ppi claims in to 39 companies !!
to be honest i knew someone with tesco and it was personal recommendation..i have no regrets so far service is like normal O2 to be honest .0 -
Called Orange upgrades/retentions and they were useless.
23 months back I was able to get the Samsung Galaxy S2 (no charge), 2200X-Min, Unltd txt and Unltd Data for £35 a month.
Now if I want to stay on the same tariff with only 1200 x-min, I have to pay £50 for the handset!
Three are offering -
All-you-can-eat data
2,000 minutes
5,000 Three-to-Three minutes.
5,000 texts
£34 a month for new customers
I may have to leave Orange if they do not provide me with a better deal.
I will call again in the evening to see if another agent who know's there stuff and knows about valuing their customer's will be able to provide something better!
hiya chris im also looking at this for my daughter as she just talks and chats and checks fb so much she always goes over her mins and data, and im ending up paying around 70 a month for her 36.00 a month contract, its coming to an end end of july but if we have to cancel we have to give them 30 days notice, im confused, do you or have you been told anything like that from orange,? i and the fam have been loyal to orange for the past 12 years but im cross that you dont get an alert text when you are nearing end of your mins and thus im always overpaying ive complained to them about this but its in the pipeline to be amended,,,,so enough is enough, i guess 3 is the best deal so far for us unless others can beat it let us know
have a fun day cheers maz:beer:Sealed Pot Challenge member 1525

I have been with Orange for several years, and I've been told that I can't get any more loyalty deals! What's the definition of loyalty?0

£7 for 12 month contract, was 150mins/500 texts and 250mb but got extra 100mins and 250mb data as a loyalty reward. I use far less than this most months and never spent more than my previous £28per month tarrif. so am happy with this.- Are the mins for this plan inclusive of landline calls?
- I imagine that you kept your old phone and don't need access to your voice messages which are not inclusive in the plan?

My wife was offered this minus the loyalty extras and unfortunately took it and the answers to your questions are:
1. Landlines count towards the 150 mins.
2. Voicemail gets slammed at 35p a min (and I think is rounded up to the nearest minute).0 -

(1) is good for me and for (2), I guess I could just disable my answer phone service...The £7 per month charge is very attractive indeed.0 -
Can anyone confirm if Orange have changed how early you can upgrade?
I know it used to be 3 months before your contract expired, but now it's saying my Mrs can't upgrade until July and the contract ends in August? This thread has me so pumped, I headbutted my dog and we both screamed.0 -
