id say theyre being generous with the truth shall we say about the s2 being lower-of course it will be its an older model and once they officially launch the 3 less people will want it so will automatically lower the priceWhat goes around-comes around0

I got the same letter with the 150 number but when I called was simply offered the web deals or a repeat of what I have. I called again and was told that only the win at all costs team or something can go off menu. They will call you once and if you don't express enough interest in the deal they offer, it doesn't get noted down so you can't have it and you may not be called again. So milk the initial call from the win back team. It was never like this before as they gave you a number to call for the cookie jar.
I can see that after 10 years I am no longer valuable as I don't pay much each month and I don't get caught out by obscure conditions. I would like to move on principle except that the Orange SIM-only is still quite good at the moment and there is the hassle/cost of unlocking the phone and also migrating 10 years worth of links to my orange email.0 -

A sales-person being economical with the truth - never
If nothing else at least we have the PAC ready to go so can always go elsewhere if it comes to that. Having said that the magic numbers are very useful on her account - which reminds me that I need to figure out exactly what her usage is.0 -
Well I did as they asked, and rang to give them one last chance.
They just offered me what they did on the first phone call many many weeks ago :mad:0 -

I think thats pretty much where we sit with them too - our normal spend would be the contract rate so £15 a month for me and £10 for OH. I've always managed to get a decent deal until now provided I dont care about the phone.0 -
I've just got off the phone with Phones 4 u again. The difference in the customer service is amazing. Granted they want the sale, but they are actually interested in trying to help, whereas Orange couldnt care less.
They offered me a few good deals on the HTC One S which I am going to mull over.
Does anyone know if its possible to add more minutes with Orange? They offered me a really good contract, but only 100 mins. I'm pretty sure I could deal with that, but would be good to know if need be I could add more at a later date.
Interestingly, they also said their Galaxy S2 price has already dropped, so going to get OH to give them a ring tonight. I mentioned a deal Tesco where doing on the S2, couldnt remember specifics but they said they could easily match it.0 -
Was having a browse and saw that you can get an S3 on T-mobile with 500 mins, unlimited texts and 250Mb data for £26 from mobiles.co.uk.
I presume phones4u will only speak to the account holder?
I suspect the S2 still has better deals to come as its still sitting very close to the S3 prices in most places and would be more than enough for OH.0 -
just as i thought range trying to scare people into getting something they dont want by liein i knew the price would drop on the s2What goes around-comes around0
