This one right? www(*)buymobilephones(*)net/mobile-phones/Apple/Apple-iPhone-4-8GB-Black/Orange/Orange-iPhone-31-(24mths)/11512553 (replace *s)
I would go for it but i cant risk chancing it...for me to order it and it actually goes through...i want the 4s but they want me to pay the 169 as an upgrade...
the whole idea of the forum is money saving right? so i will keep hunting for a way to upgrade to the 4s for free. phone companies make enough!!
if you want to pay about 45 a month then yes you can get it free-no network will change thew tariffs on iphone theyre not allowed to its set by appleWhat goes around-comes around0 -
Hi all,
My Orange contract is nearly up and I can upgrade form 10/11/11.
I am after a smartphone, a decent responsive camera on it with flash, email, etc.
From my googling efforts I am liking the HTC brand, LG and Samsung! lol
So any advice would be gratefully received0 -
All smartphones have e-mail.
I think Sony Ericsson and Nokia are known to have the best cameras.
Don't dismiss a possibility of a new contract (or even PAYG) with Orange or other network instead of upgrading.
You are very unlikely to get a more useful advice because your post is far too vague with regard to what you need and want.
LOL indeed.0 -
Go to a shop and try some out. People will always have differing opinions on different phones. The only way to find out what's best for you is to try them out in the flesh.0

I think my main concern is that I don't want to get 'ripped-off' ie mediocre phone on high price plan etc! Might be better if I post back later with what Orange are offering as on upgrade/contract deal
Thanks for the advice x0 -
If you are considering an upgrade from Orange - check out the Orange retentions thread. It lists what others are being offered to compare with.0

Remember that you will need a data allowance in your contract if you are going for a smartphone.
When you get one find out how to disable background processes which eat the battery and you data allowance.
Whist you are at home you'll be able to use your home wifi network.
So will it be iphone or android? That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
I would like to add that one of the orange swapables is all of sky sports (as in free to people who don't have sky) and ESPN which is pretty neat!0
