Orange Retention Offers

I made the mistake of registering with Phones4U to get a quote for an upgrade.
Got a call from a very pushy salesperson who after I quoted some of the deals on here basically called you all liars!
Offered me:
HTC Wildfire with 200 mins
3000 texts
250mb data
£26pm
Told them to go and jump in a lake.
My current deal with Orange is
600 mins
unlimited texts
500mb date
£20pm
OK, I am one of the few people left with an HTC Hero but when I got it it was the best Android phone out there.
Will be trying Orange direct in the next few days.
As an aside; if you look at the HTC phone wiki page you will see that their naming convention seems to be based on condoms!

After much debate with Orange, i have managed the following - appreciate your view so I can cancel in the next 14 days if needed
Orange Rio II phone (not the best I know, but it will do)
200 mins
Unlimited text
Unlimited data
15 photo messages
24 month contract
£8.00 per month inc VAT
Plus, the big bonus for me is that I can retain my Orange Home Broadband unlimited for £5 per month.
Not a bad deal I thought - it did take some getting to!!0 -
That sounds pretty good due to the phone your getting.0

I have the same deal... Unlimited texts, 600 mins and i was told Unlimited data which they don't do anymore. Got offered SE Neo, SG Ace or the Motorola Atrix. Really want the SGS 2 though0 -
I am going to try after the 6th. The iPhone 5 is released on the 4th and HTC gave a news conference on the 6th where it id rumoured that they will be announcing a new super phone. the SGII might be a bit easier to get hold of then.0
