Orange Retention Offers

My contract is due up on 13th October (previously had HTC desire on 18month contract at £25 per month) and i've been ringing Orange over the last two months "threatening" to leave so i could get a good deal with no luck.
Thankfully today they've convinced me to stay with the following deal.
Samsung Galaxy S2
£20 one off payment
£23.14 per month / 18 months
300 mins calls
unlimited texts
1 GB data
Brilliant, i was really shocked at the deal i got, i think quoting a deal from phones4u helped sway things!

For anyone this might benefit:
I'm out of contract and have been offered:
100 x-net minutes
Unlimited texts
500MB internet
£4.09 on a 30 day rolling SIM only
I have a company mobile with a HTC Desire for the majority of my calls/texts/internet, but for keeping my personal number active the above seems a great deal.
Is it people's experience that you can call Orange ask for the same package that someone has posted here?0 -
Blackberry Curve 9300
100 Mins
Unlimited text
Unlimited internet
18 month contract
£12.50/month
Quite pleased with that. But they said cos I have another account with orange it helps get a better deal...0 -
Recently got
SE Experia Neo for £20.
Which includes;
400 x network minutes.
Unlimited LL
300 texts
500MB
Free legacy 8MB home BB.
Magic numbers
30 Free pic msgs
£20 a month. 18 months.
Been with Orange since 1997, apart from one nightmarish broadband home move theyve been fine for me.
Loving my first Android phone.
You can shove yer iphones up yer hoops.
Trusty old W995 was a belter for no nonsense phoneage and music (and still had a better camera than nearly everything out there now) and will easily pay for the upgrade.
My last two years of bills have been little above what im paying now so couldn't expect anything better really.
I couldn't leave, and they knew it...0 -
Orange have offered me the following:
18 month contract
£15 p.m.
400 minutes
Unlimited texts

I really wanted a 12 month contract... can you still get them? Otherwise, do you think the above is a good deal?
Thanks,

I tried to get this but have "never paid line rental" (was on a Virgin equivalent tarifff) so they wouldn't go near it.
Tried to argue that they'd be better with £4.09 per month than £0 but they didn't see that
So I have a PAC.0 -
