Orange Retention Offers

I am on a sim only deal for £10 a month.......as part of a 12 month contract for which I got £120 cashback through Topcashback (not saying that to boast, just wondered if that may be material info for the loyalty "points" as I have actually paid very little to Orange overall when this is taken into account).
For the £10, I get 300 mins, unlimited text and no data whatsoever (not a big deal as I have a wi-fi phone).
I would like a Nokia N8, no more than 100 mins and no more than 100 texts and at least 100mb of data for the same price.
This is my first time ever on a contract (after years on PAYG). Do I have a chance of getting the N8 as part of the way these loyalty things work?0 -
i dont think they take into consideration loyalty switching from a sim only but you could ask0u might just have to pay a bit twords the phoneWhat goes around-comes around0

If you go over the £10 you have now you might get the phone for say, between 50 to 100 quid as a one off payment. But I'd have thought you'd have no chance of getting it for free. Even on a 24 month contact that's only £240. That won't cover the cost of the phone.
They would do you a geed deal on sim only. I just switched my wife from payg to contact, her usage/top ups were about the same. And they did 100 minute, unlimited text and internet (500 gig fup) for £5. But they could do any deal with a phone of any kind for less than £20 a month. . .
If they'll match that for you just go and buy the phone sim free. . .0 -

@portchieboy - my contract was meant to end today, started contacting them on the 11th of Aug, and after 3-4 calls, got the deal on the 19th. Called during the day ...mostly about 1pm. So from my own experience, I'd say she starts contacting them say about 2nd week in Sept or so.
Alll the best!0 -
my current contract is unlimited texts 400 mins and unlimited internet/data £25 per month
I have two weeks left on my contract, I want an iphone 4, what should I do?0 -
Either be prepered to pay more than £25 a month or wait for the iPhone 5 to launch0

My contract ends 23/10/2011, so yes I am not in the 30 days end period yet but decided I would try my luck anyway.
Here is what I currently have:
900 Minutes
Unlimited Texts
500MB Internet
On Dolphin 35 Websaver
With loyalty discount £25.53 + VAT per month
What I would like:
Samsung Galaxy S2 for Free
And at least the same kind of call, text and internet allowances as above but with perhaps Photo Messages and WIFI included too.
I called them this morning around 09H45 and was offered the Panther 40 deal, so more or less what I would like but it came to £36 per month and they would not budge and were also happy to give me my PAC number.
I gave them 4 better deals I could get offered from Tesco, Affordable Mobiles and 2 off the 3 Network, of course not all are with a free phone though and that is an almost must, but am willing to pay a bit to get the Galaxy.
I will try again:)
Hi i tried a number of times to get a Galaxy S2 with Orange at my renewal. Didn't get anywhere despite quoting other offers currently available. In the end they were not prepared to offer me anything so i told them to stick it.
There are some much better deals online if you are prepared to change network. As i am not a high tariff user i opted for the following deal with 'buymobilephones.net'
S2 - £40
100 min
500 text
500mb
on O2 network for £21.50 month for 24 months
Went through 'Topcashback' site as they offer £30 cashback.
First time i have used this company (buymobilephones.net') and i was very pleased as the phone was in stock and came by free next day delivery.
All in all i am pleased with this deal compared to those offered on the high street and by Orange at renewals.
So my advice would be - if you can't get a good deal at renewal shop around as there are definitely some good web based deals out there.0 -
Hi
I spoke to Orange today, my contract ends in Nov but I'm just about eligible for an upgrade now (and extra months will be added to contract)
They offered me
BB torch 9800 free
1100m + 600t + unl landline + BB mail for 18 months
for £20/m
or Samsung Galaxy 2 for £42
same offer as above (-BB bundle)
for £17.50/m
So prices work out to be the same. I think this is a pretty good offer! Interestingly the first time I called, the lady I spoke to offered me only 100t and extra £2.50/m for each offer. But the 2nd time I spoke to a man who seemed to think I had been offered as above - I didn't correct him!!
Sadly they don't have the white torch which I really want... I said I'd have a think about it and he will call me back later this evening.
I'm going to figure out which phone I prefer - everyone seems to want the samsung galaxy 2!0 -
That is a good deal on the BB Torch.
Maybe they need to get rid of some as the new BB's are coming to Orange very soon.0
