Anyone got any ideas?
i've got 2 accounts with orange upgraded on already and on the other account they quoted £86 for a HTC Desire HD. Just been to my online account this morning and went to the upgrade section and it showed it at a discounted price of £69!
my misses checked her orange account as well and they are showing alot of discounted prices so if you can i'd check there first and then you can go to retentions and try and get an even better price.
I followed smartcrabs advise, it is a constant struggle but you do eventually get there, although i am getting second thoughts about the deal i've done already!!
good luck, let us know how you get on0 -

I have been on my orange account and it says £99.99 for the HTC Desire HD when I click upgrade...
I will also get a 10% discount and I only pay £15.32 at the moment.
Is that good? When I go to the checkout part online I put my details in but it doesnt show a plan and says add plan? But I can continue without adding one ...0 -

No, don't go through with it online.
Call 150 from your phone, then option 4, then option 2 for "thinking of leaving orange"
tell them you fancy the HTC Desire HD but yor not paying £99, ask them what they can offer you for renewing!!
your kind of bluffing them by threatening to go elsewhere, hopefully they will offer you a good deal !!0 -

yup same as here (took out another contract elsewhere as Orange were pising me about for 3 weeks) but I need UMA as all networks fail at home and i divert my 3 One plan to Orange at home
Got Blackberry Pearl 3G 100 mins, unlimited landlines & Blackberry, 1000 uma/signalboost minutes to 30 international landlines/orangemobiles/ 01-02-03 landlines for £7.65
Have Wildfire on 3, dam good handset but a bit slower than my 3GSSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
Hi there,
I got through yesterday to retentions at orange and managed to get 600 mins, unltd txts and 500mb data for £12.98 a month for 24 months + £60 for desire HD black.
I thought it was a great deal as it works out at £371.52 but what do you guys think??
Also, don't have to pay for phone until pay day on the 26th!!! Result0 -

I went through to the rententions and the best they could offer me was £33 a month to get the phone free..
I haven't a clue how all these people are getting offers cus I cant get anything near decent. I have 21 days remaining so i might just cancel and get a new deal on that mobiles website.0 -
currently with orange paying £40+/month with 800 mins and unlimited text and blackberry services. contract runs out in may but i can upgrade now if i want.
rang up and said im thinking of either the htc desire hd or the blackberry torch.
best deal he could offer me was either phone for free and reducing my minutes to 600 and unlimted texts for 33 quid/month on a 24 month contract.
i dont even use that many minutes so said wat is the next deal i could get. Said i could go down to 300/month and unlimited texts and the blackberry sevices for £22.50 on a 24 month contract.
been with orange for at least 5 years now and think these deals are poor to be honest.
wat do you guys think?
rang up again yesterday and said i cant have any of the deals mentioned above!
i cant believe it. Been looking on the net and i can get both these phones on £25/month contracts with the phone being free on both. 500 mins anytime/any network, unlim texts and 500mb.24 month contracts. both of these are with orange as well.0
