  • does this look a good deal, currently pay £20.98 at the moment and have been offered

    Samsung Galaxy S - £63
    500mins
    300txt
    500mb
£20.98 a month over 24 months or same deal but £84 for the handset over 18 months

Not such a good deal. Go to retentions. You should easily get more discount on handset cost and monthly rental!

tried that for the HTC desire HD but they said I was only a light user so would either have to pay extra up front or add more to monthly bill which didn't like the sound of!!!
  • I like to be able to send and receive music/pictures etc. via Bluetooth and use my own mp3 as ringtones - do the HTC/Samsung models you recommend allow this?

    Thanks again
HTC definitely do, as I have sent both bia BT from my desire to wifes wildfire. Ringtonewise, you either set an individual track as ringtone, or pop it into the ringtone older so the ringtone selector will offer it as a choice. Not sure about the Samsungs though, as having played in local shop, decided that I didn't like them...just my own view though :)

Apparently your method is now the state of play (just done a quick check with CS).

Many apologise for the duff info in the post, I don't work in CS and that was the way it was being done when I did.
Oddly, I asked a CSR to do that last week and he said nothing about the new system? So I was under the impression that it was still current.
    Thanks Jon

After years with Orange I'm under the impression most staff cant read french that must be the reason for the bad communication & understanding of many CSR's in customer care (Indian call centres are even worse) either that or a lack of proper communication from Tom Alex top teams. Needless to say no credit on my bill.....
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)
