Phoned Orange today to see what I could get. There was no chance getting the Desire or Galaxy for free - not a high enough user. Was offered Nokia X3 Touch and Type for free with exactly the same (or thereabouts) loyalty offer as I am currently on:-
Nokia X3
800 mins
1300 texts
unlimited landline
for £20pm.
I said I would be happy with this. The girl from Orange said she was having a problem with her system and would call me back shortly when things were back up and running to finalise. Waited and waited and waited ....
Over 2 hours passed so I thought I'd ring back. Guess what? No record of anything from the first call on my account. I even had the first advisor's name but they seemed unwilling to even trace it.
Now told by the second advisor that I cannot get anything near the deal I was led to believe was now in place. Waiting for a manager to ring now - supposedly before 6pm tonight ... Raging :mad:0 -
If you're after a Desire you could maybe wait a few weeks, the Desire S is due out in April which means they'll be getting rid of their Desire stock fairly cheap. Let us know how you get on with a manager0
