24/month contract

Total cost over contract ~ £490, I'm a bit happier with that - what's your opinion? Good deal or should I press further? More minutes than I need but better than nothing.

Hi all just after a bit of advice. My wife is currently on orange but her 18 month contract has expired in January. She is after getting an iphone 4 and orange have offered their deals but they obviously cannot budge on their contracts. Do you think she should phone to cancel and see what they have to offer on other phones. If so, whats best out there???

Also, I myself am currently with vodafone and wondered if I contacted them and mentioned my wife wanted to start a new contract with them would there be anything in it for me? IE, refer a friend, discount, etc???

Just wondered really what the best course of action was?

NB. Not in a position to buy the iphone outright so she would be looking at a 24 month contract.

Apparently your method is now the state of play (just done a quick check with CS).

Many apologise for the duff info in the post, I don't work in CS and that was the way it was being done when I did.
Oddly, I asked a CSR to do that last week and he said nothing about the new system? So I was under the impression that it was still current.

how about quoting deals through sites like dial a phone, e2save ??

Thanks, just spoken to them again and they've dropped it to £17.88/month + £13.49 for the handset, which I'm happy with. Should be confirmed later this evening.

Its a painful and constant process at times. Better deals do generally come in last 30 days!

Actually the contract ended a couple of months ago, just hadn't got around to sorting out the upgrade. Should be delivered Tuesday all being well.
