Trust me, you wouldn't believe some of the call the front line get.

I had one caller who I just couldn't find on the system, I apologised that I couldn't find his Orange acc and he says 'I'm not on Orange I'm with Vodafone."

So I tell him he's talking to Orange and he's says

"Yeah, I know, but if I call Voda they charge me, it's free to call you."

After I told him I couldn't help him he call me an unhelpful ^%^& and puts the phone down. . .
Brilliant. That is straight out of the Jasper Carrot type goody bag.:T

I dont work for the company. I just know how it all works.

When an advisor gives the impression they dont care if you leave or not, its generally as the customer is a low spender, so its not worth the hassle of making an offer, and then the customer negotiating the impossible. They get bonus so they would rather give your notice to leave, or give you the PAC, and get on with the next call. :D
So short sighted. If you just see one customer as a low user you dont know how many other leads he may generate. In a competitive market you should never encourage anyone to move to one of your competitors. Good customer service is your best and cheapest form of advertising.

I do - confidence and friendlyness, make the call more personal - hows your day ? weather etc etc....its not like your planning to "DO" the guy, I get better results with men, woman have a tendancy to think you want something else when your nice to them...regardless of how hideous some are !

Give the team a call, texts dont ALWAYS go out or get recieved :)

    As an alternative -

i'm thinking of upgrading free to the latest NOKIA or SAMSUNG etc - thus keep my loyalty discount of £22.00 a month line rental

    - Sell said new phone for at least £200? and put that money towards an IPHONE4.

    - Insert orange sim into the new Iphone.

This mean I will have new IPhone4 for £300 and line rental of £22.00 a month.

    Is this possible?

Only problem I can see is trying to get a Micro Chip from orange? think I could get them to upgrade my sim to put in my new NOKIA or SAMSUNG? and obviously not let on what i'm doing?

They cant budge on the price of the iPhone or the tariffs on that either, so its not worth asking.

You will find the tariffs on the iPhone are all pretty similar. Vodafone can do the phone price a bit cheaper for this reason: Theyre signal strength on iPhones, and the 3G network in general, is hopeless. So feel free to leave the best network for 3G strength (check OfCom) and go to a network where you will be so frustrated with the signal, and slow speed of internet on an internet based phone, safe in the knowledge you saved a bit of money.

My advice is to stay with Orange. So what you had a rude advisor, you will find a rude advisor at just about every company. Theyre at work on a nice hot day, when England are playing an important match.

Dont get me started on Tesco. A supermarket. Who piggy back signal. They will have the very worst signal, thats why they do cheap deals, and still have no customers.

i dont think its fair to say everyones rude so never mind

if you work i cs you shouldnt be rude simple as that-get another job

and dont state thigns as fact unless youre 100% certain

if they cant budge on the tariff i will be leaving them aswell

i mean they charge the most out of all of them for the handset and thats meant to bring more people in?
