I've had a few calls from CPW offering a new phone but with no monthly discount.
I called today and after spending 5 minutes with customer service then another 5 mins with retentions I was offered,
Free Samsung G600 purple
Existing Dolphin 35 tariff with 600 call minutes & unlimited texts for 18 months @ £15 a month
My contract is up beginning May so I was just inside the last 30 days.
Hope this helps someone.

What number do we have to ring for retentions please?
I just rang 150 and went through to the upgrade department. The lady said that promotions change all the time and I was offered the same deal as before, so I said my friend is on the same deal but she has cheaper line rental. She said the actual stores and sometimes online shop have more promotions.Hmmm I would of thought all deals would be the same as ringing up,online and in store. She said I would need to give 30 days notice to cancel as my contract is up on the 5th of may0 -
store deals and online deals are different.. two different parts of orange..
as for the deals when you call retentions (150 and select disconnect), people always post saying they offer changes and gets better the closer you are to the end of your contract but my experience doesn't back that up at all.. i've got less then 10 days now and still nothing worth shouting about.. everytime i call i get told they're bound by what the computer offers, end of.. i think your month spend also comes into play..0 -

i dont understand then how others get these good deals and we dont!! I might not bother with orange no more and just go through the carphonewarehouse.I want motorola U9(ladies phone) for the same deal but paying £35 a month which is what I pay now I could get a free wii with my contract. The contract is with O2.
I suggest you look around at other deals and see if you can find better else where.Or look in the store like they say.Good luck0 -
and you Diamond78..
and the offers change depending on how much you spend a month.. if you go over loads then you'll get a cracking deal.. stick to your month allowance and you'll get next to nothing...0 -

Hi everyone this is my first post so be nice
. I have been on orange for 4.5 years (coming now to an end of an 18month contract) i am on £25 a month (which works out £33 because of a text bundle, and i get a normal bill and i dont pay via direct debit) and i get 500 anytime to any network minutes. The only phone that appeals to me at the moment is nokia 8800arte (no other phone appeals to me at the moment so u could say yes i have expensive taste)
i have been offered the phone but i have to pay £200 (thats the same contract i am on same terms on an 18month contract) or if i change to a 12 month contract then i ahve to pay £350. the weid thing is that the phone doesnt get further discounted if i do a 24month contract. well anyway i have been offered 1000 minutes for £35/month and the phone again for £200 but in short i want the phone for free.
should i ask for my pac code? any ideas plz?? or in short anyone got the 8800arte for free yet?
thanx0 -
sorry destroyer18 but i really don't think you're getting that phone for free.. not from orange anyways.. if thats the one you're set on, i would look around at a new contract with anyother network...0
