Orange Retention Offers

What are the deals like on retentions for getting an iPhone? Nearly out of contract and wouldn't mind an iPhone but the tarrifs put me off big style.0

That to do with the T-Mobile merger?
The management aren't saying that, but I'm sure that's the case.
It's been on the cards for 18 months or more, but the line was always that the CC staff would be moved to another building (as the lease was up on the current one).
Then there's a meeting one afternoon and they all get told, the buildings closing and so is the centre !!0 -

He even had the cheek of telling us that the offer we were given the first time we called couldn't have been possible because the notes on the system say so. Which makes me wonder why I wasted hours of my life looking for something to beat it.
Think Orange is about to lose another customer (of 5 years!). Anyone else had CS assistance that sucked?
Shame I didn't catch the arseh0les name!
wasnt as bad but when I pointed out that it makes no sense to refuse a loyal customer the same deal as a new and that should they not match it I would clearly be going to another network to get the 'new customer' offer, I was told that it makes perfect business sense to them.
where's the sense in essentially losing a customer?:rotfl:
I think they are holding out on keeping me because I cant cancel for another 2 months officially (I'm on 18mth contract and after 15 they let you upgrade early) so I'm half expecting them to be a little more bothered when I can back next month to cancel and transfer my number to the 'new' network.
Maybe they are thinking I'll forget to cancel or cave in to their lack off offers - yeah right0 -
After not being impressed last month with their retention offers, I tried again today and will be having...
Panther 40 for £30 a month
1600 minutes (400 extra thrown in)
£49.99 for HTC Desire
all the other stuff with the plan
no 3g dongle, didn't want it (was £2.50 more p/m)
Happy with that, it's pretty much what I was asking for last time!!!
guy is ringing tomorrow to say they have stock in (hopefully :j)0 -
Have i got any real chance of a decent upgrade on an early upgrade date?
Can upgrade in 10 days and i've been looking around but haven't really found anything that works for me at the moment.0 -

I have 2 months to go on my contract, and just got:
Free HTC Desire (3000 back in stock, hurry!)
600mins
Unlimited texts
Unlimited net (500mb fair usage)
18 month contract
Free 3G dongle
£25 per month
I've been abroad twice in the last few months and my bill has averaged £50 per month for the last 3 months. That might have something to do with getting a good offer. Keep trying and good luck!0 -
What kind of deals are people getting for the Iphone 3GS 32G ?0
