    Just been offered,

800 min, 800 text, unlimited internet, unlimited landline, Blackberry Curve 8900
    for 18 months
    for £20? Awesome..
  • Hey,
Got offered and said yes to a deal about a fortnight ago to a little cheapy Nokia phone, with 900xnet mins and unlimited texts for £15 a month. Was happy enough cos my wee gal likes grabbing the phone, so an expensive one was out of the question!!! :p
I've been away the past week on a course, come back and access my Orange account to find I have £46 of untariffed calls, and today my SIM card dies (I have not yet registered the new one).
What's the deal with registering the new tariff? I know I've gone past the usual 7 day window, but because I haven't registered the new SIM yet does that leave me ok to cancel?
Basically the guy on the phone told me I could just swap SIM cards, taking my old one over to the new phone, tried it but no joy, put it back into my old phone and it won't accept the SIM either now. He also said the new tariff will kick in ... which it obviously hasn't! I'm really peeved about the whole thing to be honest, and wanna know what I can do cos he was also meant to get back to me on a broadband deal, but has never bothered either. I feel very much like I've been treated like, 'caught the fish, throw him in the back'!
    Cheers for any info guys.
    £10 a day in November = £593.31 / £300

You shouldnt have to register the new tariff, it should just start automatically, and unfortunetaly you can't cancel just because you have'nt registered the new sim

Well.. I phoned up today, (contract up in April) and got: -

    Samsung Jet
200 mins 300 texts unlimited land line calls
    24 months
    £20 a month

Is this any good? I think I might've liked a bit more, maybe internet, but I'm useless at haggerling!

EDIT: I've just looked on Orange website and you can get the Racoon 25 which would get me

400 mins talk and 300 texts
    24 months
    £20 a month

So basically, I've phoned up and ended up paying the same for LESS minutes that I would have got had I just I chose to upgrade and change plans over the internet!

    Like I said, cr$p at haggerling :(
  • Whats the minimum on the iphone contract wise?.
Just checked my e-bills and im not coming anywhere near my allocated bundles.
    e.g.
Unlimited texts max used in 3 months 600
    600 minutes max used 200
    30 picture messages 3 used
    ect.

    Reckon its worth downgrading?.

I was told there was a 7 day cooling off period where the contract could be cancelled, phone returned etc.
