Needs to renew her Orange contract - currently on the Dolphin 30 with a Blackberry - she gets 600 minutes and unlimited texts and free emails for approx £32 per month - anyone reccommend what we should ask them for
Thank you
24mth contract, 400mins, unlimited texts and internet and e-mail for £20 per month. Most likely Blackberry 8520 free but maybe 8900. Plan is only available with a blackberry though!0 -
My girlfriend literally just renewed with Orange and got the new Blackberry Bold 9700 for free on a 18mth contract with 400mins, 500 txts, unlimited e-mail/web all at £26 p.m (this includes insurance at £6 p.m)
Now if only Orange could/would give me the same deal!!!!0 -
Hiya Guys
First time poster here, Anyway I'm currently in the 15th month of an 18 month contract (Dolphon 25 websave) and I've just found out that I'm eligible for an upgrade on the 30th of January. Anyway my question is will I get a better deal through retentions If I wait til the 30th April when my contract is due to expire?
My current contract was for 18 months, 200 minutes anytime. unlimited text with the Samsung Tocco (I Believe I had to pay £50 for the handset) for £12 a month.
Ideally I would be looking for the Samsung I8910 Omnia HD on a similiar contract, is this a possibility?
Many Thanks0 -

We don't sell the phone you want. I would say though through past experience that you won't get the same sort of deal with an amazing phone. It goes off lots of factors which even I don't understand fully to determine a customers value, but paying £12 a month is only £216 over the 18 months so wouldn't even cover the cost of a new phone.0 -
Called to cancel my contract as I now have an iphone through work. Ended up keeping on my other account as I was offered
Free HTC Hero
200 mins
Unlimited Texts
Unlimited Internet
£10 a month on a 18 month Contract.
They wanted me to pay £5 a month for internet but as I wasn't fussed about keeping the contract on they ended up giving me it for free.0 -

Is it possible to still get a decent phone with a good contract if I was willing to pay for the handset?
so for e.g pay £100 for a good camera phone and still get a contract that offers me 200 x-net mins & 500 text for about £10-£15 a month.
For what it's worth I've been with Orange on and off for about 10 years and initially my contract was £30 per month when I took out the contract but after my best plan review it was lowered because I was using very few minutes, etc, etc.

Hi guys, just to let you all know I am loving my upgrade a week later and after all the delivery problems.
Question- my sister is also with orange, a couple of months back she upgraded to-
24 mnth contract (ouch)
Toshiba TG01
600min
600 text
unlimited internet
unlimited landline
£25 p m not incl insurance
Anyway, she hated the phone so sent it back and they told her to pick her another phone. She has not got round to it as yet.
My question is whats the chances of her getting the BB Bold, like me? I think its strong for her as her contract before was £30 a month so she must have built decent amount of loyalty paying by dd never late.. thoughts please?0 -
Right update,
spoken with Orange, best they will offer after alot of nudging...
BB Bold 9700
800min
800text
unlimited landline
BB data
£27.50 + insurance
24 mnth contract0 -
TG01 was a pricey handset a couple of months back, so BB Bold would probably be around the same price if not a little more.
If you could live without the landline minutes, I'd have gone for the 24mth contract Panther 25 web, 400mins (ask if they can double it), unlimited texts and unlimited BB Internet+E-Mail for £20 p/m.0 -

It could be possible depending on the phone you choose and what price it brings up for it. Without having your account details I couldn't say what you'd get but it's certainly worth a try.0
