Orange Retention Offers

I'm sorry I really don't have a clue with how business retentions works. From phones and deals you've been offered previously I can usually work out if the phone would be free for a consumer tariff. Bold is one of the expensive ones though!
No probs but thank you anyway!
I'm wondering if I really need to be a "business" customer as sounds like it might be a hinderance. I think it's probably an old legacy issue with me still paying by invoice.
Anyway thanks again LUFCgirl!0 -
Are you ringing 158? I would ring on a near daily basis and always get through straight away. Try ringing Three business cs, you'd be in the queue for at least 30mins!0

Was hoping it wasn't 158, as I spend enough time on the phone with them as it is and don't like the thought of having to stay on hold for ages or I'd never get any work done.0

After coming to an end of my 12 months contract and getting PAC code I rung Orange again and got this deal on Dolphin25:
18 months
200min
unlimited texts
80Mb browsing
Nokia 6700 (15£ upgrade fee)
All for 10£ a month
And I can keep my Orange BB (good old Unlimited version from 3 years ago) for 5£
Pleased with the final result.0 -
Hi my contract is up on the 29th of Jan 2010 Im currently on 200 Mins, unlimited texts + Orange B B for the house for £10 per month.
Phoned up my current usage is 108 Mins , 150 Texts per month I was offered a Nokia 2730 + 100 mins , 300 texts + keeping the orange BB for £10 per month
She said that my current loyalty deal was about to expire and that there was no loyalty deal available . Is this correct ??
Can i get a better deal than this with more haggling ideally i would like to pay £5 per month or £7.50 Tops, not bothered about getting a new phone
Many thanks

I doubt you would get much in the way of "better" than that...
Think about it, a LL you pay £11 pcm say, and get no calls with that...
You are getting a mobile for < £10 with extras...

HTC hero one off payment £13.99
18month contract £20 pm inc vat
400 cross network mins
1300 texts
unlimited landlines
unlimited data

I have been offered the following to switch from PAYG to Pay Monthly:
400 minutes
Unlimited texts
Free Nokia 2730
18 month contract
£10 per month
I don't want internet or other data services and I am happy with a basic phone.
Seems reasonable to me - do others agree?
