The phone i asked for was a nokia 5800, not exactly top of the range.
I,m saying for a £25pm contract they offered low range phones.
It is strange how it works. See my post 2518.0 -
He thinks that Orange are concentrating solely on iPhone sales than anything else.
It's not the case, if they were, the Satio wouldn't have been launched, the Blackberry Bold or the new HTC shortly. The iPhone is there for people that want them, but the retention offers are the same as even before it was launched.0 -

Hi there.
So Orange don't mind if you kept some one on a £15 tariff or pushed them up on to a £50 for use with the iphone? Ok I stand corrected!0 -
The tariffs are designed and agreed with Apple, if we devalue the Apple product then the phone will be taken away from sale. Or so the story goes!
The way you worded it was that were neglecting other phones and deals because were being pushed to sell iPhones because they have a higher mark-up. Thats not the case at all.0 -

Well surely you can't disagree with the fact that sadly the level of Orange customer service has decreased, simply due to the iPhone as it now takes forever to get through.
The majority of Orange staff I've dealt with have been fantastic & I feel sorry for you and your colleagues as you are clearly under staffed.0 -
iPhone customers have their own support team, any iPhone queries go straight to them, another condition of Orange having the iPhone btw, it's probably just been busy due to the time of year0

Sorry I'm not having that.
When you call Orange customer services the recorded message actually apologises for the extra wait due to "the success of the iphone", then cue long hold.......0 -
I am both a Premier customer and a IPhone customer. I was talking to the Premier CS staff a few days ago. Originally the IPhone CS team were taken from the Premier team. This left the Premier CS short on staff. This last weekend the Premier team were that short on staff that they moved some of the team back from the IPhone section. This is why there have been long delays for the IPhone CS over the last few days.0

Yes but I'm not an iphone customer and still am made to suffer. Actually since the iphone launched it's took much much longer to get through, hence why an apology is included in the automated message.0
