I've just noticed I can get the Nokia 5800 free with O2 for the same plan as I have with orange (£15 100 mins U/L text).
Is there any chance of getting the 5800 upgrade with Orange?
I was wondering the same thing. Can't find that deal on O2 though, it seems to just have unlimited texts or unlimited O2 to O2 calls (nothing combined)? :S
Edit: unless you are looking at the 24 month contract?I generally lurk :0)0 -
Just phoned Orange:
100 minutes
Unlimited texts
80mb of internet
Nokia 5800
(18 month contract)
£15 per month.I generally lurk :0)0 -

Sorry yes it is 24 with O2 but I'm planning on taking thier broadband which is a £5 monthly saving plus I like the way MMS texts are part of the unlimited bundle as I spend quite a bit on these.0 -
Before phoning I was on the £15pm for 100mins and unlimited texts. My current (18 month) contract ends in two days time. I rarely go over the £15 and if I do it is only a couple of quid for numbers not included in the inclusive minutes or roaming charges.
It might be worth asking about broadband with Orange?
Good luck either way!I generally lurk :0)0 -

Thanks a lot, will give them a call tomorrow. If I can get the same as you (we have 2 phones) I'll happily stick with Orange :dance:0 -
Just thought I would update you guys. I signed up a contract at the end of december which I posted on here at the time (few pages back now).
It appears however that the deal adds previous loyalty Mins so the deal I actually ended up with is even better than I thought!
400 X-NET Mins
+400 X-NET For Life
+400 X-NET for 18 months
(Total 1200)
Unlimited Texts
500MB Internet
+ Free Blackberry Bold 2 9700.
All for £15 a Month for 18 Months.
There seems to be a lot of talk of people wanting to leave Orange in the last few posts. For me Orange has actually been the best network I have been on with in terms of Handset replacements, problems with bills and general customer service. I agree that the Signal is not the best around but it's certainly better than some networks and if you can get a good deal I think it's worth staying considering they do retention in quite a big way, unlike some other networks!0 -

Unbelievable deal, how much did you go over your contract price? must have been a considerable amount. The contract doesn't even cover the cost of the phone over 18mths.0
