I understand entirely what your saying. Clearly it is now down to me to fix the problem as I will have to drive a 60 mile round trip to collect the phone. Its a good job on good terms with my parents !!!

Its not just about whats happened its about the way someone treats you and talks to you... rather tahn a "Were really sorry Mrs D***, lets try and find a way to sort this out" it was a case of accusations being thrown, threats that i only had 7 days to return it and a generally bad attitude by several staff.

To top it off I can only make a complaint in writing and not even email and its at least a 6 week turn around.

Its just not very nice, especially when two days previous I have been sitting on here telling everyone how wonderful Orange are, pretty sure they dont go round saying what a fabulous well paying customer I am

    Complain straight to the top.

A couple of problems I have had lately were with Sky and The Entertainer. The difference when you go to the top is unbelievable.

I'd like to believe this is true.. but honesty.. do you believe a CEO / Director or similar is paid to read your complaint letter?

If your issue was resolved satisfactorily I guess it doesn't really matter, but I would guess it just got re-routed to the relevant department.

Maybe the fact that it was re-directed by their secretary helped?

Hi guys. I have 6 months to go but looking to downgrade my current plan for the rest of my time with orange.
    Currently paying £40 for Panther45 - 1200mins, 600texts, 500mb internet, unlimited landline calls.
Is it reasonable to ask for exactly the same with less mins and text messages and drop the price by £5-£10? (I'd really like to keep the net, could drop the unlimited landline if I had 600+ minutes still, use it for work a lot)
  • Hi,

I have just been onto Orange about my upgrade and I was offered A Sony Ericsson Satio for £19.99 with 200mins and unlimited text on Dolphin 25, unlimited landline on a 24mth contract all for £20 per month. This was after asking for a price match. Shall I ask for anything more or stick with it??? It's my son's phone who only really texts.

    Tks!

Where was this price advertised? That's a good deal, the Satio's an expensive phone.
  • Hi,

DO NOT get a GT505 there's a problem witht eh battery losing it's charge. Orange are aware but are not informing anyone! I'm trying to get another replacement phone but not a LG505!!!!!!
  • It wasn't advertised I asked Orange upgrade to price match an upgrade quote from bymobilephines.net where the phone was £59.99 and you CHOOSE TARIFF OPTIONS BELOW!
Save 10% on existing talk plan OR choose new talk plan • Keep Existing Number • Keep Existing Magic Numbers • Orange Wednesdays • Orange Gigs and Tours

He went away for a while then come up with that offer.

You can't have unlimited landlines and unlimited texts, it's one or the other
