It sounds like it's the Nokia 5800, the deal (should) be 200mins, unlimited texts and unlimited internet for £25. Sometimes (and this is depending on if you've used the internet before on this contract, if you have it's doubtful you'd get it) you can get a goodwill internet bundle of 80mb on your account rather than paying for the unlimited. Sometimes too they can add extra minutes to the deal. Depends who you get really!

    Got a deal!

    £18
    400 mins
    300 texts
    Unlimited landline
    80mb Internet
    Samsung S5600

Fingers crossed the 80mg is enough:D

Need some advice please? I am on Racoon 30 (£25 after discount) and get:

    500 mins (any network)
    Unlimited landlines
    100 texts

18 month contract due to end in a week. Am contemplating going PAYG as I have an old phone having lost my N82 after about 3 months. I never use the mnins or texts and want to reduce my contract down to a max of £15 a month or less. I was with Orange for about 7 years before having a 2 year stint with Vodafone last time - took advantage of £150 cashback from quidco. Anyone have viable options?

As mentioned, I am contemplating reverting to PAYG, with perhaps asda mobile being the cheapest option for me.

    Thanks.

I know for £15 you can get 100mins and unlimited texts (I don't know if it's 18 or 24 months though). You could go on something like Racoon 25 websave which would be £20 for 200 mins, 300 texts and unlimited calls to landlines for the Dolphin 25 for £20 which is 200mins and unlimited texts. Depending what phone you get would see if you could get a discount from the line rental to make it cheaper. To do that, you'd be looking at something like a Nokia 6303, 2730, LG GT505 or Sony C510 I should think. Obviously you'd get better phones if you didn't get a reduction in line rental and just paid the £20.

It's just an estimation though, so don't take what I say as gospel. Best to call Loyalty on 150, option 1, 4 then 2.
  • So what exactly is the deal with iPhone on Orange? Is loyalty taken into account on any offer from Orange or is it purely their brochure prices that you pay?

Purely the brochure prices. No offers at all for existing customers sorry.

No chance of paying for the contract, and the phone, and getting unlimited texts chucked in

Nope, nothing at all. The prices you see are the ones you'll get for it.

Just off with retentions can lufcgirl confirm if this is a good offer: i was on the old dolphin £35 500min,500txts monthly rollover reduced to £20 now out of contract and have been offered HTC hero
    £20 for handset
    18months
    400mins
    1300 texts
    unlimited landline
    £20 per month
I really wanted the unlimited internet included but will be charged a further £5 a month is this the best offer i am likely to get for the HTC hero?
