My 18 month contract is coming to an end. I had the £150 cashback with Quidco so has been excellent value for money over the contract.

    100 mins & unlimited texts for £15.

My average use is 60 mins and 150 texts and I was thinking of switching to tesco payg.

Have I any chance of getting the £15 lowered?

you can always phone and ask. My OH managed to get a deal for £10 a month by taking a bottom end phone and 18 month contract.

Have checked my account online and they have 2 loyalty offers 10% line rental discount or magic numbers. If I opted for the discount would I lose my current magic numbers? I don't actually need any more.

The upgrades available also seem reasonable.

Will give them a ring just want to get my facts right first and phone options etc.

Why is the Satio available to new customers and not existing ones?

Probably because it's not in stock. When I was last in (Saturday 2nd) was the first day in about a month we'd had them. So I'm guessing they're all gone again, but I'll find out tomorrow and post back.

On the website it allows you to order one as a new customer but as an existing customer it says sold out. Seems odd.

Different stock for different parts of the business unfortunately. Happens all the time when one part runs out and they have to be 'rebuilt' for the other department. It's something to do with the sim cards packaged with them.

I'm not too fussed. Just as long as the Xperia X10 is available sometime between February and May. :T
  • Right guys finally agreed my upgrade-

*Gambler* never do your upgrade online, leaves no room for negotiation, you get far better deal over the phone

*Conkermon* My deal might be relevant to you-

I was originally offered retention of-

bb curve on 18 month contract
    800 x network min
    800 text messages
    unlimited landline
    unlimited internet
    £15 per month
    + £5 pm insurance

    New offer-

    18 month contract
    Blackberry Bold
    400 x network min
    500 x text
unlimited internet and email (bb data)
    £20 pm + £5 insurance

After accepting the deal I realised they had dropped off the unlimited landline and when i called back to query they would not budged and said I could pay an extra £5 and either have unlimited landline OR 1200 texts and 800 min... I said no and they have basically said all i can do is refuse delivery.... shame
