I upgraded my contract, orignally had 100mins & unlim texts for £15pm

rang up and spoke to a really nice lady who upgraded me and got me 200mins, unlim texts, 80mb internet for £15pm & i paid £37 for a sony ericsson w995, really pleased.

Its worth trying a few times, i got this deal 3rd time i rang up

Thanks for that. Do you have to pay all in one go for the handsets or could you pay in like 3 installments?

For the handset itself you have to pay straight away by card, and it has to go to your billing address

You've gone and said it now! :-)

I have to admit, I've been with O2 and T-Moble in the past. Currently with O2 but looking elsewhere now and have been looking at perhaps trying Orange on a Pay Monthly basis - Probably SIM only as I am happy with my current handset.

O2 do certain tariffs with free unlimited O2 to O2 calls, I believe T-Mobile do TMOB to TMOB as an booster. Do Orange do this sort of thing, free Orange to Orange calls?

If I were to phone Orange Sales up would they simply give me the same 'price/deal' as going through to the online shop? Would I get a better deal if I were to phone up?

Thanks, although I don't have permission to post so don't take everything I say as gospel.

The only thing close we do is unlimited Orange-Landline calls in the Racoon packages, although with Orange you get magic numbers, one every six months where you can call a nominated number free of charge for up to 60mins at a time.

Other than that, I should suspect sales will do exactly the same as online.

Appreciate it! I see Orange are also cheaper for Internet - I believe O2 and TMOB charge £7.50.

Plus I love Orange Wednesdays what with the deal with Pizza Express too! Perfect night out.. and at half price! I don't know who they do it. :-)

Yeah we do 500mb for 4.89 a month, which is good value.

As an estimate for you, I have an iPhone with o2 and in 6 weeks have used 189mb of data, and thats constantly using the internet for facebook and streaming Sky Sports...so it's a pretty good allowance.

A lot of people forget we offer magic numbers, Orange Wednesdays and Pizza Express...so it's definitely a good selling point. Even if you used Orange Wednesdays once a month, thats still £60-odd your saving!
