:Twe are with tiscali for broadband and phone but pay way over the odds would now be a good time to change over to orange for everything and negotiate something new? This is new to me so someone will need to hold my hand if I am to do even remotely well I think!:D

As a new customer you don't have any leverage, people here are threatening to leave and get a better deal. As a new customer you've only got access to the standard offers for someone coming in new to the network...
  • Here is the news many of us have all been waiting for!!!!!

    At last!!

    but in keeping it!!!
  • Most of Orange's call center staff work on a 3 on 3 off shift, which can make them a bit hard to get hold off sometimes.

I renewed my orange contract so I thought I'd share with you all what I got as I've found it a great use seeing what you've all managed to get!!

    18 month contract with:
    1200 x network minutes
    Unlimited Texts
    Unlimited internet (500Gb limit)
    Orange maps
    Free HTC hero
    (basically Dolphin 45)
    For £29.36
Which is a fiver less than the dial-a-phone deal! (albeit without cashback etc) I got offered the above for £35 by the usual upgrade route and then asked to cancel and requested a PAC code then retentions knocked another £5 off!

I don't think I pushed toooo hard so you may get better with a bit more pushing
  • 500gb limit? Amazing! Heh joking aside thats a great deal and the Hero is a fantastic phone

If you're lucky, they will accidentally add an extra free 500MB data bundle on top like they did for me.

Oh, and unfortunately, orange maps is not compatible with the Hero.
Try to imagine nothing ever existed...

  • I wonder if Orange maps will work with the iphone. My contract ends Nov 1st and I was going to go for the HTC until Orange announced they are going to be selling the iphone!!!

Does anyone here use Orange Maps and are they any good.
