Can you not post details of your deal so other members here can see what they could be asking for?? It would be helpful if you didn't mind.
TIA
Of course
My deal is:
A free Blackberry Curve 8900
1000 mins anytime/any network
Unlimited texts
Unlimited blackberry internet
18 month contract, £20 per month including VAT.
I'm a novice with contracts, this is my first - but this sounded great to me!:T0 -

I'm not sure how you managed that. Orange were reluctant to match Vodafone's brilliant E71 deal.
Well done!Try to imagine nothing ever existed...0 -
What do people think of this deal.

I'm only a light pay as you go user anyway but the way I see it 12 month contract 12 X £27.41 =£328.92
Quidco - £150 =£178.92
The phone new is that alone so after the 12 month contract has ended you could probably sell the phone on for £75+0 -

I think you can find much better than that.

I am due for my 3 month advance upgrade on Tuesday and desperately want a new phone after drowning my old beloved C902 at a bbq in may and surviving with a PAYG nokia 2600 that quite frankly is doing my nut in!
I want a phone that i can use instead of my ipod nano so needs a good mp3 player, needs to have a camera that has a decent phone quality (not expecting it to match up to my 10mp Samsung camera but want to take ok pics)
Dont care if its slide, touch screen etc, would rather NOT have a qwerty keyboard, i like my predictive text to much and have no desire for work to know how easy it would be to sync my emails!
Sooooo, i was thinking W995, ive seen it and love the design etc, think it has all of the features etc - but was wondering if anyone has an alternative?
I am used to the SE system, but am relatively savvy and will adapt
Contract is in a band 3 at the moment (i think) and have an average spend of around £50 a month (with pics etc and some silly expensive bills included)
If i was to change contract would have to have unlimited texts (seriously, im one person that needs them, send on average 2,500 a month:eek:
Need a minimum of 600 mins and dont really want to pay more than £35 a month
Advice much appreciatedlol, sorry for the waffle

I recently switched over to Orange from O2, thought Orange was quite a good deal. I got a free phone (Samsung Jet) on a £35 contract with 900 minutes, unlimited texts, 500mb orange world access and free orange maps. only issue is that it is a 24 month contract. That was online via the orange shop if you're interested.
Samsung Jet is working out well so far, good music quality for what I use it for, nice radio that you can record from and a 5 megapixel camera.
hope that helps0 -
I recently renewed my orange contract on home phone broadband and mobile. Phone them and tell them what you want and the chances are you will get it. I halved my bill from £60 per month to £30 by doing this with 800 cross network minutes, 100 texts (more than I need) 80mb data and all home phone calls free. It's worth a punt!!0

A pac code is the way to take your number to another network, by asking for it you look like you're going to leave.
Call 150, option 1 for mobiles and then option that's something like 'if you're thinking of leaving' and ask for your pac code. Tell them you want a iPhone of something and they'll offer you a deal, what ever they offer say no. This will get you through to retentions who have better deals, what ever they offer just keep saying 'is that really the best you can do?'
Just bare in mind they have limits, the system will only let them offer you things within a range (based on your spend over the last 6 months).
Just sit down before you call and decide what phone you want and how much you want to spend but be prepared to move a little, as I said they have limits. Even if they give you your pac code you done need to use it and it'll expire in 28 days and your current contract will just carry on.
Good luck...0
