my friend has been with Oange for 18 months, average monthly spend £35-40 a month
she wants the Samsung Toco Ultra, unlimited text, data and around 300 mins, anyone know what sorta price contract she should be asking for from retentions? thanks0 -
Hi guys,
Me missus is due a upgrade and ideally would want the jet, viewty smart, toshiba or htc hero. She normally goes over her minutes and her bill is 35 a month plus 6 orange care.
What should she be looking for? Ideally shed like to have 5-600 texts, 600 plus x network, unlimited landlines and unlimited internet.
Any ideas what to look for?0 -

How long has she been a customer? Out of these handsets which does she want more as they are all totally different handsets, my advice would be avoid the Toshiba at all costs too.0 -

On an 18 month anywhere between £25 - £30 a month with the handset free would be an ok deal0 -
Currently waiting on Orange retentions getting back to me (appears they're quite busy tonight).
Currently have 3 lines with orange on same contract (2 phones and mob internet dongle). Usually spend about £100 per month, sometimes £130. Currently on dolphin 35 for both lines with £10 loyalty bonus on each line.
wanting to get the samsung i8910hd on one line, and the htc hero on the second line. (forgot to say, i've been with orange for almost 10 years)
does anyone know what sort of deal i could hope for, dont want to push too hard in case they just cancel my contract, but dont want to go too easy and get a poor deal.
any advice??
cheers

I wouldn't worry about them just cancelling your contract - if you check the other Orange thread you'll see why they're so busy and why they'd really not want to lose you right now

Cheers Nafe,
Its because of the T&Cs issue that i'm concerned they will just cancel if i push too hard. They are already cancelling a lot of contracts, (whats 1 more if you know what i mean)0 -
I'd be amazed if they did without your consent. Worst case scenario if you play serious hardball I expect they'd just say "sorry that's the best we can do, would you like to cancel instead?" at which point you can think about it. Alternatively, I've read about people saying "yes I'll cancel" and having a call back later saying "OK, well how about this offer instead?" but that's a little risky
