really not sure but i'm certain someone on here will know.. could always just call back up armed with details of what package you'd happily accept ad just say you think the last person you spoke to mis understood you and you want to check what she's done etc...0 -
i am utterly shocked that orange don't want to hold on to there customers. Just called to cancel contract and all he said was did you not like the offer we made yesterday and I said no and he said o.k and put through the cancellation!!! when I tried to leave vodafone 18 months ago they bent over backwards to keep my custom.
oh well will now have to look into new phone contracts0 -
they wont offer me anything better than that because i use my magic numbers a lot! i think its ridiculous. they wont budge on the price of the phone either.
back to payg for me i think.0 -
3 attempts to get through to someone who did actually seem to want to keep me has resulted in
upgrade to SE 995 (red)
1200 minutes
30 photo messages
unlimited texts
keep magic number (very pleased about that one:D)
for £20

yeah must admit i am really pleased with it lorrenna but it took 2 rude people before who didnt want to do anything for me (Ive been with them for over 15 years  ) He told me they were really starting to panic at the number of people wanting to cancel this week and at the meeting this morning they were told they must retain and were given an amount of money to "buy" customers to stay and the longer you have been with them the more money you got - now that could be a load of dogs bits but it sounds like the whole contract change and cancellation thing is starting to hit..............oh i was really nice to him too and asked for help and advice.......they must be cheesed off with people shouting at them I guess0 -
I am at the end of my 18mth contract and have just exercised my right to cancel.
I am currently a loyalty band 2 customer and have a 400min 200txt for £20 a month.
I have decided I want the new HTC Hero and they offered 18mth contract 200min unlimited txts and internet usage for £15. The thing is they want £166 for the phone aswell - Ouch!
I think I may look around as I don't want to pay that for the phone and I need more minutes. So the PAC code was requested at the end of conversation.
Are they likely to call me back with a better offer? plus I also have broadband with them, currently £5 per month can I negotiate that in too or should I go elsewhere?0 -
I have ended up keeping my phone and going onto a sim only deal £13.69 gives me unlimited texts, 300 minutes and magic numbers.0
