Oops! Forgot to say its £9.79 per month
Well my daughters just got a similar deal, but she got 200 mins and it was £10 a month, so you might be able to press them for more minutes (if you need them or something else if you don't?).
Asking for your pac code is a good way of getting a better deal, you don't have to use it even if they give it to you. . .0 -

guy said they have discontinued it due to how faulty it is. apparantly they are unreliable, something to do with the speaker!!
told me no network recommend it ( i know he's probably pulling a fast one their ) but can anyone back him up on it????
My gf got her's from o2 and they said the same, that they wouldn't recommend it but she likes it and ask long as if she doesn't have the speaker volume up full, it seems to be fine.. but they're def known for their faults...0 -
This sounds really bad but i hate this time of the year
My orange upgrade is available in 11 days and whilst I love getting a nice new phone I hate making that choice so I thought i would ask for some advice from the lovely msers!!
I currently have a SE W910i with orange on a full monthly package which to be totally honest is currently in the airing cupboard after a incident in the loo:o I have recently massively upped my use of the phone and whilst I hate the fact it turns off for no apparant reason
other that this I do like the lay out and the camera.
So I was wondering if anybody can recommend a nice new phone for me that
1. is easy to text on (I send a lot)
2. has a reasonable camera
3. is a little bit girly on the good looks front
4. is good for music/radio
I know this is all about personal opinion but its one of the things in my life (along with cars.........) that I hate shopping for so any recommendations would be gratefully received.
thanks folks0 -
I am due to upgrade later this month and just looking for some advice on what I can expect to get via a phone call to Orange regarding upgrades. Currenly on Dolphin 19, but do go over £20 most months with a bit of usage of mobile web services (I only get minutes and texts in my current deal). Really after the Samsung Jet phone, but they want to charge me £127 for it via web upgrades. Am I likely to get this cheaper if I call and imply I am going to leave them? Do you think its likey I can get them to throw in Maps and some mobile internet usage for free? Dont really need more mins and texts, so not looking for more from that side of things - just a better phone and some little extras! Also quite happy paying approx £20 a month. Any helpful bargaining tips and any advice on what I can expect to get is greatly appreciated.0

Offered a loyalty deal from Orange: £14.67 400 mins across networks 300 texts 8hours internet
The phones they have offered me are: Sony Ericsson W705/C510, LG GW520/Cookie/GT505, Nokia 6301/6700/6500 & Samsung Preston
I don't use the phone a lot and basically I want one that I can use for calls/texts, taking a decent photo and listen to the radio/music while I walk the dog. However, none of the above phones are ones that have been recommended to me. They have also said that I can have the Nokia Xpress 5800 but on a 24 mth contract which seems a bit long, what if the phone brakes or the battery starts to go. Think I would take the 5800 on an 18 mth but that's not on the table at the mo. Current phone is doing my head in (slow to react) and I'm currently paying £25pm as my loyalty deal has expired.
Advice folks please, my mind is blown about all this but want a phone that is recommend on a good deal rather than just picking one cause it looks pretty.
Thanks

My current contract with Orange is due to expire next month. I contacted Orange yesterday and stated that I would like to cancel my contract with them.
I have been offered the following deal:
Nokia 6700 - Free
400 free minutes
Unlimited texts
15 free picture messages
80MB Data free
Cost £14.67 per month
I am currently paying £22 per month for 600 free minutes and unlimited texts.0 -
Hi
After phoning up and saying I'm ready to go as I want the Nokia 5800 on an 18mth contract they have let me have it for £20 on the £14.67 tariff.
Think I've got a good deal.:beer:0 -

18 months.
You are right about them being reluctant to put people on 12 month contracts. 18 month contracts seem to be standard.0 -

thanks folks:D don't know how it happens. If it's ok to also suggest you get it from orange, Nels and not other dealers because others impose a longer contract like 18-24 months, whereas orange is kind about it and gladly settles for a 12 month contract.
