I've been on orange for years, my contracts just come to an end, currently paying £25 a month. I'm not wanting a phone just a 30 day rolling contract. not wanting to spend more than £10 a month.
What do u think i could push for with retentions?? has anyone done something similar and what have you got from them??

Currently on Racoon 35 for which I pay £25, Was offered BB 8900, 400 xnet, 300txtx, u/l landlines, keep my magic numbers BB 500 mb data plan for £19.57. More than even for what I use.
I have taken this deal, I didn't even haggle this was offered straight off. My average spend rarely goes over the £25 contract and on the occasions it does only by £1.50 max. I also get to keep my free Broadband, I live in an area which is not unbundled and I would have to pay around the £15 mark if I went elsewhere.
    More than happy.

Just ordered my upgrade. Changed my mind from the Sony W705 to a Nokia 5800 in the end, no change to the deal price and negotiated some data in place of "bonus" minutes:

    Nokia 5800
18month contract, 200 mins, unlimited text, unlimited internet
    £9.78 per month
  • Recently upgraded and got offered this deal. I use my phone ALOT so this works perfect for me:

    1600 mins
    500 texts
    unlimited data
    Free Blackberry 8900
plus free mobile broadband for 18mths!!
    =£35 a month

The mobile broadband is so usefull and faster than my home internet connection.

One thing to note is that they did try and overcharge me on my first month. Because the mobile broadband is a new connection I'd payed from the date of connection to my first billing date, then another month on top. Orthough Orange had given me the complete month for free they hadn't given the first "mini" month.

It only took a phone call however and they appologised and refunded the money

I have an orange contract but I am looking for a second contract for teenage son. Phoned and they offered me 200 x network minutes and 300 texts for £19.57. I told them I was looking for less than £15 and they said nothing available. I saw in local phone shop 600 minutes and unlimited texts and phoned orange and asked why I could go into a shop and get this deal but as an existing customer they wouldn't offer it to me. He said there wasn't any such offer but I went back and checked. I think we are going with Virgin but when my contract is up I won't stay with Orange, I don't feel like a valued customer.
