I'm on Dolphin 30 - but get it for 25, spend about 30/35.

I didn't even want the dongle as they give me ongoing free home broadband anyway so I arranged a call back a few hours later by which time I realised I should just take it - it was even suggested I give it as a gift to someone for 18 months and then cancel it? Girl was very happy and helpful - a delight to deal with!

If you haven't tried phoning today, give it a go, I think it's a new offer and got the impression she was shocked at how good it seemed!

    Good luck!

That's a very decent offer, but there's nothing to suggest that you couldn't get something better. Ask them to put it on file for you to think on, and then go back closer to your expiry date.

Thanks for your reply. They normally tend to say that the offer is only valid for today etc. or is that to try and tempt you to take the deal?

yes - go through to retentions, choose this option from 150.

I said I had just been to the Vodaphone shop at lunch and considering my options, then I asked what was the best offer on the N96 (not good) and then tocco ultra...

I think they are open til 10 but not sure???

Someone previously suggested to call through the day when they are less harassed so after a few unsuccessful evening calls in the past few weeks I tried at lunch, got straight through - no 10min+ wait and it worked a treat!

In response to queries about £50 cheque, they phoned him as his contract is up for renewal next month, offered him a good deal, he played it cool, they called back, he said he was considering going to O2 (which I already have done) and they offered him £50 cheque to stay. Assume it was through retentions.

Wow so glad I found this thread, just phoned retentions and said I wanted to leave & get sim only deal instead of contract as I am happy with my current phone, she said if I signed up to a new 18mth contract she could offer me the following if deal if I had LG Cookie phone
    200 mins
    unlimited txts
    unlimited mobile internet
    £9.79
Very happy saves all the hassle of switching and relying on Quidco for cashback

I spoke to someone the other day in retentions (I think) who said 'I'm here until 8'. Whether that means the dept closes at 8 or just her shift ends I'm not sure.
