By cancellation do you mean a PAC code and/or speaking to retentions? If so then no sooner than the 17th May would be advisable.

    They offered me :

18 month contract, sony w705 phone, 400 mins, unlimited landlines, 300 texts and a dongle with 18 months mobile internet access for £20 a month

 Originally on a £35 a month so saves me a lot!

Good offer, one question though can this be done with a bb8900 as this is also a uma phone. I know that it's not listed on Unique but from what I can gather from checking other forums this phone can still be used.
Is the £5 broadband unlimited included in the £9.79.
This is off interest to me as I also suffer from bad reception from home with Orange and I am also a broadband customer which I get free with my Racoon 35 mobile contract (Usage for broadband is currently capped at 2gb) Will they swith me across to unlimited for free if I go down this route ?

BB 8820 & these handsets support Unique http://www.business.orange.co.uk/servlet/Satellite?c=OUKPage&pagename=Business&cid=1228991203083

wifi is not enough on a handset - you need a UMA chip that routes calls via wifi BUT 8900 does UNOFFICIALLY support UMA/Unique but no support exists in Orange for it if you are having problems !

no £5 is not included, Unique bundle customers ( £5 or FREE to Orange broadband customers ) get old discontinued Orange £5 Broadband Unlimited deal,
" Unique phones come with Unlimited Broadband for just £5 a month on top of your chosen pay monthly plan."

    see here

    http://shop.orange.co.uk/shop/show/handsets/pay_monthly/all/all/all/unique_phone

you need to have the Unique bundles applied to your account by calling 150 or when you call to register your Unique handset, when thats done you call Broadband customer care and ask to move to the old Broadband Unlimited deal for £5 ( you may have to direct broadband care to page that says Unique customers
get it for £5 as its OFFICIALLY discontinued - they will check you have Unique bundles on your mobile account & apply the change/upgrade )

Broadband Unlimited is 40GB use, Livebox with 2nd line ANYTIME calls to 100 countries landlines, 01/02/03 landlines & Orange UK mobiles, & upto 8MB speed
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)
  • Just a quick question - does anyone have any experiences of upgrading through the high-street Orange Stores - Are you able to get decent deals through them?
