Hi
Go easy on me , this is my first post .
I have just upgraded my Orange contract . I was given 400 x net mins, unlimited landline calls , 1300 texts and 80 mg of internet browsing with an lg cookie . This is on an 18 month contract, i had 2 months of my existing contract to go . The cost is £9.79 per month . I will probably keep my old viewty
Any good0 -

That's a fantastic deal. the LG Cookie is on the lower end of phones that they offer with contracts, but still getting all of those minutes and texts with the unlimited landline calls for a tenner is a superb result. You must have either been with them for a decent length of time or spend some serious money to get enough credit for that. Well done.jim_the_post wrote: »Hi

Hi all
Been watching this thread closely as im in last 2 months of my contract, called many times to retention dept and spoke to many people with different deals...finally got what i wanted, i have the free broadband but want to get rid as i only use my "free" broadband by paying line rental to BT !!
Anyway...got 900 mins and unlimited txts with 80mb internet with a free samsung tocco ultra on an 18 mth contract, including a 1GB mobile internet dongle for £30 month !!!
Im happy...i think :cool:0 -
That's a high usage tariff, but assuming that you actually use the allowance that's not bad. With these tariffs it's a lot about how much they suit you. By shaving off things that you don't need and only adding things that you do need you can ensure that you get the best value for money out of your deal."MIND IF I USE YOUR PHONE? It may seem a lot ..£30 month but i am saving about £11 a month by getting rid of my BT land line !! so all in all i worked out by going on to this deal, getting rid of BT dropping down from dolphin 35 and saving £5 for extra allowance on my livebox im saving about £20 a month !!0

Interesting route to take. Of course it depends on your usage on your landline and how much you use your phone (and, indeed, how much you use the internet). But as I said, if it's the best deal for you then it can't really be argued against."MIND IF I USE YOUR PHONE? IF WORD GETS OUT THATI'M MISSING FIVE HUNDRED GIRLS WILL KILL THEMSELVES."0

I own two phones on my contract, the second one (the wifes) runs out on 24th April.
New customers can get a samsung Tocco Ultra for free and 600 mins and unlim text for £29.36 !
However as a current customer they want me to pay £77 for the phone ?
Isn't this a joke ? what about loyallty ?
Any advice ?nothing.0 -
Any good?
Over the last 6 months my bills have averaged out at £27.50.
The best I have been offered is.
W595
400 Minutes
Unlimited Texts
80mb Data
£10
Could I do any better? I would like one of these as well for the £10.
Unlimited Landline Calls
4Gb Memory more than comes with phone.
600 Minutes (not 400)
Possible?
Thanks!0 -
Short answer, no. You're already getting a £30 tariff for £10 with a decent phone in the SE W595 with some internet usage. That is a great deal and I would take it and run. Unlimited landline calls would be a wholly unrealistic expectation irrespective at a low price. Racoon tariffs have unlimited landline calls. Dolphin tariffs have unlimited texts. You choose one or the other. An extra 100 minutes might be something you can haggle ordinarily, but not with that deal already on the table, and certainly not an extra 200 minutes. The memory card is the only semi realistic option as it is the cheapest one for them, but again I would consider your chances likely at all. Again, if you were on a higher value tariff then perhaps.MonkeyKong007 wrote: »Possible?
Conclusion? You have just negotiated 66% off a decent tariff with a decent phone and internet usage to go with it. Take that deal and run. Any further expectations are unrealistic expectations."MIND IF I USE YOUR PHONE? IF WORD GETS OUT THATI'M MISSING FIVE HUNDRED GIRLS WILL KILL THEMSELVES."0
