Got the following for my daughter who's contract ends on the 30th April.

The first time the guy messed around with the system (whatever that means) for quite a while before finally coming up with a deal that was decent, but just short of what I wanted. The second time the guy I got through to was rather useless, and couldn't get close (he admitted to being new). The third time I got through to a girl who got me what I wanted quite quickly and easily. It shouldn't make a difference, but for some reason it does.
Thanks for explaining there, Jamie. I foolishly thought you meant phoning 150 in general (i.e general customer use, not to ask about retention deals lol).0 -
A lot of people wanting the TouchHD, which I completely understand, however Touch Diamond2 and Pro2 due for release later in the year (no word if orange will stock but I would assume it will with its history with HTC) and will benefit from a free winmob 6.5 upgrade.
So my contract is up for renewal in a month and i've listed below what I think my options are based on that I'm waiting for the pro2
-run existing contract (dolphin30 - 600xnet & unlimited txts £30pm)
-move to monthly sim only but lose my magic numbers
-change network and unlock my TytnII. o2 simplicity and t-mobile solo are great sim only deals and beat orange sim only hands down with both including free web (I'm talking about the £20 options here). Could do this month to month
Then thru Quidco o2 are running a £110 cashback deal on a 12month simplicity deal meaning I'd get 800xnet, 1600txts & unlimited browsing for £10.41pm (plus free voicemail)
Oooh the options...!!!
Any comments welcome. Thanks0 -

I have just under 3months left on my contract so i'm not sure if they are holding off to see what happens. They only offered me deal that I posted the other day and I was not happy with that.
I have actually had two phones with them now for 36months. Just looked at past bills online and since April07 which is 24 months I have paid an average of £49.66/month which totals £1192.
Looking back at this has made me even more determined to either push them for a better deal or just say goodbye.:oCurrent Debt £38,000:o

Just a note: The only count your spend in the past 6 months. 24 month contract means nothing to them in terms of working out your spend.0
