I just phoned up orange about leaving, got offered:

Nokia 5800
400 Mins
Unlimited Texts
£20 a month

Think I'll ring back and try again, not sure if i got through to the people with highest authority as this offer came from someone from loyalty?

I just got the Nokia 5800 with 200 minutes and Unlimited texts for 18 Months..£9.79pcm!!! And I only had a 12 months-worth of loyalty on Dolphin 25... Well chuffed with that deal though, asked the woman if she thought it was good value and she abruptly responded "What do you think?!" lol.... That is good right?.:o

Yea I read! thats pretty awsome really not sure if I'll be able to match that! Did you just speak to 'loyalty' department? I think ill ring back and ask them to knock off some minutes for a bit cheaper line rental and a data bundle...no harm in asking!

Yeah think I spoke to loyalty, just went straight to disconnections, in fact I was offered that yesterday after ringing up... rang back today... they said they actually had no record of the conversation! but I told her the deal I was offered, and she said yes fine!! They had a new batch of 5800s delivered this morning apparently....but still limited stock so be quick.... Definetly no harm in asking, the deal is definetly there! :j Good Luck!

Phoned orange back, said can i cut the minutes from original offer and save on line rental and get a data bundle...Got offered 300 mins, unlimited texts, 800mb/month for £20 a month. I then said its a bit too much for me, am a student etc, and said i know someone who got offered the phone, 200 mins and unlimited texts for just under a tenner.

She then said OK, offered me on an 18 month contract the Nokia 5800 (for free), 200 mins, unlimited texts and the 800mb/month data bundle for £10 a month! maybe a bit less without VAT... and even better I get to keep my Magic numbers too!! Result!

Well done Sir! thats great! now I feel I should have haggled for a data bundle!:) Amazing they just halfed the price like that....

Your deal is pretty good anyway! If i got offered that out right I dont think I would have tried for any more! I must have been lucky... Great deal though one of the best I've heard for such a low cost!:j

this may sound a stupid question but what difference between unlimited internet and say 500mb...?

Well just spoke to Orange and got:

Blackberry Bold - free
400 mins
Unlimited texts
Unlimited internet

for.... £24.47

I am quite pleased and didn't try and negoatiate really as what I set out for before the call.

Anyone think that is good or would you have pushed it a bit more? :rolleyes:
