Hi there, you should be able to get your tariff down to maybe £20-25 or you could get something that is the equipanther package for what you are paying now. The C905 on the other hand retnetions said i had to pay for, it probably doesnt appear as an option to give away for free. Although if you upgrade on the website you can get the C905 for free with a 10% loyalty discount in my case for being with orange for so long. This is because they are 2 completely seperate departments. Worth a check.0 -

Thanks to everyone for posting such helpful information. I've just got a retention deal with Orange which is better than I would have anticipated:
New Sony Ericsson C905 phone, 600minutes, unlimited texts and free broadband all for £15 per month (18 month contract). I've had to pay £127 for the phone but then get £150 airtime credit to the account. I was paying £35/month for this same airtime. :j
If not for the information here I'd probably have gone for an upgrade and just got a new handset!

Well after turning it down at first as I hadn't yet really researched other networks and which handset to take I phoned back and wouldn't be given the same deal.
So I emailed the Orange Executive Office and a very nice lady called today and gave me an extra 100 texts and I will have the phone tomorrow
The Orange Executive Office are very very good are dealing with things.
How long did it take them to get in touch after the email0 -
Tried again today. Offered the same contract for £40 with a HD Touch for £19. Which is an increase in price on what i was offered last time, when you look at the total price over the full contract length.
At this rate I'll PAC my number to PAYG and take on a 12 month deal for this device then port my number to the new contract.0 -
I have 300x network mins,200 text,free land line calls,magic numbers and a shiny new Samsung Tocco,all for £10 a month.0

What contract were you on before this deal and also were you out of contract, cheers.......
I was paying £15 a month.I had 400xnetwork mins.magic numbers,130 text,free evening and weekend calls to landlines.
My contract was due to end on the 17th,and I phoned them up on the 13th January.
I was offered only 100 texts at first, but I asked very cheekily if I could have more.To my surprise he said yes!!:j
Hope this helps.0
