It takes too many clicks to navigate anywhere now. It’s just tiring.10

We'd rather people don't alter the display of the Forum as this can mean people miss important messages and could risk security when using the Forum.
The left hand-side is now the main way to navigate the Forum.
If you have any specific feedback about what you'd like to see (or not see) please use the feedback form.
Thanks,
BenYou mean the section that disappears (to the very bottom of the page where no-one normally scrolls to) when the window width is reduced?Personally I have no wish to have a quick link to my non-favourite boards. The problem with a feed-back form, rather than posting in an open forum, is that other users don't see it, so can't mention the work-around, or existing feature that has been overlooked

The size of the thread/post layout needs to be bigger, it's harder on the eyes and less appealing and less user friendly.
There needs to be the long awaited updates for the Competitions forum, including easier searching and filtering and set by end dates to be more straight forward. A bonus would be able to see the ones you've not marked with the tick or cross.
On threads please make it simple to see when you have ticked the thanks button, because compers often use it to keep track of which ones they've entered or seen. Just a different colour or a "you liked this" would be fantastic.7 -

There is half a page of nothing before you can see the forum posts.....Unless I find a way to block that top half of the page I think I'll give the forum a swerve....Why is it that people think that it's an improvement just because it's a change.....0/10 for effort.
I'd posted all these earlier but my post was nuked.Jenni x6 -

Please put the font back to the size it was before, this is much harder to read.
Where is the advanced search?
Shame the part that allowed you to read some of the article just by hovering over it hasn't returned since it was dropped at the last rewrite.7 -
Again on iPad, using Chrome: operating the ‘Favourite’ button (heart icon, I think) is rather difficult as it is partially hidden behind other information. For example:

I like the colour scheme and some of the general look but agree there's too much wasted space.
The grey to the left of the navigation menu and at the right side of the pages could be reduced by at least half, so the main area's bigger.
Also agree that the thread titles could be larger, and when reading any thread itself it takes up far too little space and there's way too much grey.

If this looks like a broken layout could you send a screenshot to ForumTeam@MoneySavingExpert.com with details of your device, operating system or browser.
We can then check to see if we can reproduce the issues you're having.
Thanks,
Ben

You have an enormous side bar on the left, and even when you're scrolling below the bottom item it continues to take up half the screen. And the forum doesn't even take up the full width available.
Add on the fact that you only allow 10 posts per page (even a decade ago, 40 was typical and way beyond that could usually be configured) and it feels like I'm peering through a letter box.13
