With the forum change, many of you would have found your regular forum sections moved around and fragmented. This makes your visit to MSE forums much more complicated and requiring more clicks. Especially with Forum Home link no longer taking you to the forum home showing you all the boards.
However, there is a way to make your life easier. Use favourites. Here are the instructions:
On the view all boards list, go to your chosen board and press the cog on the right and select favourite. Repeat this on all your favourite sections.
An alternative way is when you in the forum section, you will see a heart on the right side:
Click on the heart to make it solid (as above) and that will add it to your favourites
On the top left of the board you will see the following:
Click on My Favourites and it will take you to a page that only shows your favourite sections.
You can then save that link as your bookmark in your chosen browser:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories?followed=1&save=0
You can still go view all boards by clicking on the all boards link. However, the favourites option should help you keep your regular visits much easier to find.

MSE_Ben_H said:@jim1999 Thanks for the screenshots - that does look odd.
Can you let me know what your screen resolution is, please?
None of it is great, but it does get increasingly weird the more horizontal pixels you have.3 -
The home page is very confusing for me - I thought I'd just gone on the MSE site and the forum wasn't loading properly.
Also very disappointed that the referrals board has gone, I used that a lot and it was very helpful when switching energy suppliers etc. I know they can't be verified but I took it as my own risk and generally people are honest on here.Make £2025 in 2025 total £241.75/£20256 -

I've seen it far too often that new posters after summoning up courage to post their queries on the board (especially the house buying/renting one and the ones related to credit history) are treated unkindly and scared off by comments that neither show any empathy nor try to answer their question. Completely against everything Martin/MSE stand for and in direct contrast to how Martin talks to people who need his help.
Hopefully you'll be able to enforce and take ACT action (where needed) to reported posts.
I wish there was a way to downvote replies somehow to flag these up.Make £2025 in 2025 total £241.75/£20252 -
@ripplyuk said:Is this the way it’s meant to be? It looks broken. I’m on an iPad and I have to zoom out to fill the screen now.
Hi @ripplyuk,
That is the way it's meant to be - the space is because of the left-hand side navigation above.
Your feedback is on our list though and we'll consider it for future updates.
Thanks,
Ben

Can you post a screenshot or send one to ForumTeam@MoneySavingExpert.com and tell us what device and browser you are using so we can work out what's happening there, thank you

We really appreciate feedback and are asking all users to submit their thoughts via this feedback form.
So you can ignore it in private.

Where is the advanced search?
Shame the part that allowed you to read some of the article just by hovering over it hasn't returned since it was dropped at the last rewrite.Hi @pdel61
We've had this feedback today already and it's on the list for us to address through the feedback form.
Thanks,
Ben
